Airborne  —

I know many people say that it is all in your head and that products like this really does not work but I think it does.  I love Airborne.  I think it was a great invention!!!  I hate the taste of it when it is disolved in water, I usually disolve mine in orange juice.  I use to just take Vitamin C or Echinacea when I felt like I was getting sick, but this seems to be much better for me.  And if it is just a placebo effect, but that is fine with me.  In case you don't know... A placebo is a sham medical intervention. In one common placebo procedure, a patient is given an inert sugar pill, told that it may improve his/her condition, but not told that it is in fact inert. Such an intervention may cause the patient to believe the treatment will change his/her condition; and this belief does indeed sometimes have a therapeutic effect, causing the patient's condition to improve. This phenomenon is known as the placebo effect.  Anyway, I feel that Airborne is great, especially for people like me that are around children a lot.  They always carry lots of germs!  And if my children start sniffling and sneezing, then I go ahead and start trying to protect myself from it.  Us busy moms don't have time to get sick!
