I recently traveled to see a family member.  I selected Air Tran airlines because their rates were cheaper than any other airline, and I was on a limited budget.  I went from Charlotte to Atlanta without a hitch, but when I got to Atlanta to fly to St. Louis, everything fell apart.  An hour before my flight to St. Louis was scheduled to depart, I went to the gate to wait and noticed the flight screen was blank.  I inquired about it, and was informed that the flight had been cancelled.  This was due to weather, which was not the airline's fault, however,  Air Tran never made an announcement to the passengers or anything.  Then, they changed the gate we were supposed to leave from six different times, again without making a single announcement.  The pilots were even running from place to place with the passengers because they were not being informed.  If I had not been constantly making inquiries, I would have missed the flight when it finally arrived.  As a matter of fact, half of the people who were supposed to be on the flight missed it because their baggage arrived in St. Louis but they did not.  Air Tran also did not make one apology about the whole situation.  I will never fly with them again.

I can't believe they could be so inept at what they are supposed to be good at. Sorry you had such a hard time. Ron
