This is a great air purifier with a sensor that will automatically adjust the speed based on air quality. You can change modes to be quiet or for pollen. It covers a lot of area and works great for my allergies. It comes with like 5 different filters to really clean the air. Plus it looks really cool! We purchased the Hamilton Beach air purifier about 3 years ago from Walmart Supercenter and have been very happy with the quality and its ability to clean the air. The air purifier's motor seems to be very powerful despite the small compact size of the air purifier. I was dissapointed with Walmart Supercenter because we tried to buy the replacement filters there for the Hamilton Beach Air purifier and they did not sell the replacement filters for the particular model that we purchased but continued to sell the air purifier in their store. Oreck Air Purifier with Ionizer HAP424
We bought the Oreck Air Purifier with Ionizer about a year ago and I think it works really great. It has a built in ionizer that catches big pieces of dirt particles and breaks them down over and over making the air a whole lot better. two people in my home are smokers that smoke a pack each per day and the Oreck Air Purifier and Ionizer in the smoking room works great to keep the smell down and you can literally watch the smoke being pulled into the machiene . I like having the Oreck in my home because I also have a 2 year old son and I dont him exposed to all the nasty things floating around...

We purchased two Ionic Breeze units from Sharper Image several years ago, and immediately could see the difference in our bedroom. They have a nice, clean, although slightly bleach-like smell, that gives the impression of cleaning and purifying the air. The other unit is in our famiy room, and has to cover quite a bit larger area, so the results are not as conclusive. However, when I clean them I can see that they have in fact been removing a great deal of dirt and other particles from the air that would have otherwise been in our lungs or on our clothes.
