Aikido in Fredericksburg Review

 AIKIDO IN FREDERICKSBURG is a 501(c)3 non-profit education corporation.  The Chief Instructor is Aviv Goldsmith Sensei, a 5th dan instructor who also holds teaching certification in Aiki-weapons from M. Saito Shihan of the Iwama Dojo in Japan.  The school is a member of the Takemusu Aikido Association which is affiliated with Aikikai Hombu Dojo in Japan.   The school's mission is to embody creative conflict resolution, self-improvement, and community service through the teachings of the nonviolent art of Aikido. 

They offer almost daily classes including some for children, teens, college students, adults, and seniors.  Aikido is often called the "Art of Peace".  Even though the practice is primarily physical, the benefits extend to mental well-being.  Effective non-aggressive conflict resolution skills are practiced which are helpful in everyday life.
