This is a wonderful product. I try to solve my own health problems with otc products when

possible. At every change of the seasons, the sinus problems start again. I tried Afrin last

year and was really surprised at how quickly it started to releive my symptoms. The second

time I used it, I was about 50% better and that is a miracle for me.

It saved me a trip to the doctor, which always costs $70.00 or more and getting an RX

Lying in bed awake with a stuffy nose is just miserable for me especially when I know the baby is going to wake up in a few hours.  So in these desperate times I have to  find relief and fast. I will usually try the old salt water up the nose trick first but if that doesn't work I bring in the big guns. Being a nursing mommy I want to take a minimum of medication so one spray in each nostril is all I will do.  Within a few minutes I am  breathing clearly and I can get some much needed rest, at least until my baby wakes me up again.

With a long list of allergies and history of chronic sinus infections, I have found Afrin 12 hours nasal spray to be the one recommended by doctors and the one I have always found works well and I trust it.  It is what my Ear, Nose and Throat doctor uses in his office.  I've been told not to use it for more than 5 days at a time but that always seems to be enough and I am well on my way to recovery by then.  Try it the next time you have a runny or stuffy nose and see how quickly you start feeling better

I apparently I was when I lived in NC. I used it 3 or 4 times a day so that I can breathe through my nose. This product is addictive, not sure if it is the product, or I'm just addictive to breathing through my nose. Being on it for so long, I had sometimes lost the ability to smell. Anyway, I moved to Indiana, and noticed that I didn't need it has much anymore. I can smell again! Now I only take it for stuffed up nose, due to colds. It works great. But try not to use it for a very long time.

It opens your nasal passages and this allows you to go about your day. with little effect.

For some you may get a nose bleeding from it but it should go a way after a short time. Although this happen it still helps in the long run.
