I couldn't live without it!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I first discovered this brilliant little gadget(or something like it) from watching TWiT, a technology podcast hosted by Leo Laporte. He had it on air one day and he was saying how much he liked it. It wasn't expensive and that was why I tried it. Do not let the low price fool you! It works and it works well. This little device allows you to customize coffee the way you want it because it only makes one cup at a time. No mess, no fuss and the perfect cup every time is exactly what it was designed to give you and it does just that. I only wish I had found out about it sooner because it totally changed the way I enjoy coffee and the occasional cup of espresso. If I had to give a negative point it would be that it does require filters but I do not mind at all. Overall a great little gadget!

Delicious, rich coffee

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I love coffee, but realistically I am too lazy to be bothered to brew a full pot at home for just myself, since I live alone.  I don't have the space for one of those one-cup coffee makers, either.  I was browsing a website one day when I came across the Aeropress.  It is a similar to a French press coffee maker.  I love French press coffee because it is nice and strong, along with being fast and convenient, but I've never liked the fact that a number of coffee grains make it into my drink.  The Aeropress, which uses a plunger to air press the coffee, promised a clean cup.  After seeing all the positive reviews online, I decided to take the plunge (heh, bad pun ...

Easy to use and functional

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

New Aerobie aeroPress coffee and espresso maker is really easy to use and functional every time you use it for making your coffee or if you more prefer espresso. One thing that separates this coffee/espresso maker from other coffee meakers even thous that are more expensive then this one is ease of cleaning. You will clean it under 30 secends. Design is nice but not to mind blowing, durability is good thanks to the design. It's small and compact so you can put it wherever you wish in your kitchen. To conclude this review. If you are in need for a good and functional coffee and espresso maker don't waste your time searching for a better coffee maker because you won't find any better then this one.

Smoothest Coffee Ever But Have To Work With It

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

We have power failures quite often at our home which is not always easy to live with. One of the things that I try to do over time is to gather a host of products which allow us to continue our lives in a more normal fashion even if we have to live without power sometimes.

Due to the discovery that coffee helps with severe asthma attacks that I get occasionally I was concerned about being able to have coffee during times of no power. I looked around for something that would give me the ability to get a really good cup of coffee should I need one to survive in times of no power.

After looking around and talking to several people in Lehman's I came to the conclusion that my best bet would ...

Great cup of coffee, perfect for single person user.

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I'm not a coffee snob, but I appreciate a quality cup of joe. I live alone, and for a long time I've used a french press. Taste-wise, french presses are great, but they're also somewhat inconvenient and messy. In particular, the grounds from one batch tend to stay at the bottom of my press until the next time I use it.

The Aeropress is a dead simple machine, basically composed of a tube & a plunger. You put a filter on the tube's end, place it directly atop of a mug, add grounds & water, stir a bit, then slowly push the plunger through the tube. The result is a fast, rich cup of coffee that won't disappoint. But the best is the cleanup-remove the filter & push the tube the rest of the way through. Out comes a little "puck" of your compressed grounds, right into the trash! Rinse off the tube & plunger & you're done!

Aeropress makes the best coffee

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I love the Aeropress. For a while I had a stovetop espresso maker but it was annoying to clean and I wanted something that would help to streamline the whole process. The Aeropress is awesome. It is so easy to use and you just have to rinse it to clean. The biggest con is that you can only make one cup at a time, but it is so fast that it doesn't take very long to make more. The coffee consistently tastes good and has a smooth flavor. The Aeropress really lets you customize your coffee exactly the way you want it by choosing your own temperature and amount of water. While I did have trouble with knowing what cup was best, since you don't want to accidentally tip the cup when pressing the coffee, once I found the right one, this gained a very important place in my kitchen. I recommend this to anyone who wants really good coffee. The Aeropress is definitely the best.

AeroPress makes a good cup of coffee, but not very practical

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I have had the Aerobie AeroPress for some time now. I think it makes a very good cup of strong coffee if you know how to use it and do it correct (which is a little difficult).

You place the filter and screen on the bottom, then fill the tube with coffee and hot water, and then use the other tube to press through. Ultimately, it makes a very good cup of coffee, very similar to a french press - but I think better due to the pure vacuum of the tubes.

However, two big cons that I think make it not very practical. First, it takes a LOT of pressure to make a cup of coffee. Understand that the seal on the inner tube completely seals the air in, so the only place it has to go is down through ...

Awesome!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I am the only one in my family that drinks coffee, and I hated using instant coffee. I was trying to avoid buying another one when my coffee maker stopped working. I never drank the full pot of coffee and had to store the leftovers in the fridge for the following day. This of course left me with a bitter cup of coffee the next morning. A friend told me about this and had to place an order for it right away! It is PERFECT for me. I usually never drink more than 2 cups a day, typically just one in the morning. Now I always have fresh, hot coffee. No more bitter stuff. It is so easy to use. I prefer letting the hot water drip fully into my cup before using the press/plunger. I usually turn on my computer, feed the cats and it is finished. Just press, fill with the remaining hot water and my coffee is ready to go. Cleaning is a breeze as well. Just rinse everything off under some hot running water and thats it.

Love the Espresso Maker 80R08!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

This is the best investment I have ever made! It makes the best espresso's in no time flat. It's easy to use and not hard to learn about. The coffee it makes is by far the best coffee I have ever tasted. When you're done the clean up is simple and makes you want to use it again. For some coffee makers I've had I use it a couple times but then just get tired of the clean up and hassle, it's not the case with this. I have loved using it and will continue to use it until it breaks! It's flavor is amazing and the coffee never comes out too strong or too weak. I love how fast it works, I can have a cup of coffee faster then I can put a dish in the dishwasher. Such a great buy and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new coffee maker. It's nice that it only does one cup because I always make too much coffee and end up wasting about half of it. Glad I found something to save me some money!

Great coffee from the AeroPress

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

This product is easy to use, but maybe not as simple as a traditional drip-style coffee maker. However, the results are way better than a drip coffee maker. I like that I can control the temperature of the water I pour in and make a very strong drink, or water it down. This pretty much works like a french press that has a fine filter. The results are great coffee without any of the grounds that you often get in a french press. I've bought two for myself so far and given away a few more as gifts. Cleanup isn't bad, but there is usually a film of oil left from the coffee that need soap and then a good rinse. I'd recommend buying this over any of the other coffee devices. It isn't a big investment for a great cup of coffee. This isn't what you want for a large group since it makes one cup at a time. Maybe they'll come up with a larger version. I think it also uses more coffee per cup that other methods. I've tried using the grounds a second time, but wasn't happy with the results.

AMAZING

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I got the aeropress as a gift from my brother, and within a week, put my drip coffeemaker in the cabinet, and have not taken it out since. I have worked at coffeeshops, and I love coffee. I actually could even be considered a coffee snob. The aeropress makes a fast, delicious cup of coffee that can compete with a machine ten times more expensive. It took a little while for me to get used to it. I use more coffee, and hotter water than they suggest, but that is just my preference. I find that the finest grind works the best. This is not an espresso maker, it is basically a reverse french press. You get no bitterness, and no grounds in your coffee. I just love this thing. If I have company over, I will take out by drip coffee pot, but since I live alone, this little thing works just fine for me. I use it at least once a day. It makes the coffee so fast, that it is faster for me to make coffee at home than to drive to the store. Get one, you will not be dissapointed!

Aerobie AeroPress Coffee Maker is wonderful!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

The Aerobie AeroPress Coffee and Expresso Maker 80R08 is a wonderful way to start your day, truly! I love waking up each morning and making a no-mess, easy to make cup of coffee.

And, maybe it's just me, but the coffee seems to be so much better than any other coffee makers I have used.

The price is so much cheaper than others, as well. And not just that, it breaks my habit of going out to Starbucks and wasting money on coffee that I could get for so much cheaper at the comfort of my own home.

The brewing process is also extremely convinient. If you are ever in a hurry for your coffee, it only takes a few minutes actually from start to finish to get your coffee in your own hand.

I truly...

VERY EASY TO USE! I LOVE IT

Aerobie AeroPress Coffee and Espresso Maker 80R08 —

This Aerobie Aeropress Coffee and Espresso Maker takes up very little counter space, hardly any really) and makes a totally great cup of coffee to drink! Great for Collenge students like i, and anyone else who needs coffee really fast, cheap, quick, and "OFTEN". Makes espresso and coffee, and unlike many other French press machines, this does not allow any coffee grounds into your cup. Cleanup is also a snap just unscrew the grounds reservoir area and press them directly into the trashcan. Then rinse the parts of the unit and allow them to dry. And All pieces stack together into one lean tower which looks attractiv...

AeroPress is Fast & Makes Delicious Coffee

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I am the proud owner of no less than five different types of coffee makers: a drip coffee maker, french press, cheap espresso machine, Bialetti Moka Express, and an AeroPress.  Of all of these, I use the AeroPress the most.  The AeroPress both makes coffee quickly and is quick to clean: an optimal combination.  I simply start heating the water and, by the time the water is the appropriate temperature, have prepared the AeroPress.  Then it is only roughly thirty seconds until I have a strong but smooth cup of coffee.  I think the coffee produced is every bit as good as (and often better than) the coffee I make with other methods.

One of the best parts about making co...
