Aero Garden Review Summary

Unbiased reviewers say the Aero Garden is a fun and functional mini kitchen greenhouse. Easy to set up and practically maintenance free, you can have fresh lettuce, herbs or even miniature tomatoes year round with the Aero Garden. Consumers say this is also fun for children and for elderly gardeners or residents of nursing homes. Even Good Morning America has checked in on this indoor garden calling it “one of the top new consumer products.”

This is a wonderful way to produce a garden in the inside of your home. First the seedlings come up in days so there is a visable grow right away. Pay close attention the the directions for each Plant.I bought 4 with 2 on each stand and put them in my living area. Understand that by having this… read full review »

I bought this about 4 months ago.  the first one I got was the herb garden  I kept having a problem with the bulb blowing on just one side.  I must say their customer service was great for they sent me out replacements within one week.  I was not impressed with the what grew in… read full review »

I got the aerogarden and loved it right away. I love having fresh herbs. It is so simple to use and takes very little time. I love the fact that it has indicators to let you know when to water and give nutrients. It takes all the guess work away. It is very easy to assemble and all you have to do is put the seed pods in, fill to water level, add nutrients, and set the aerogarden to what you are growing. Its that easy. Also you have less to do as far as gardening chores. It totally cuts all those back breaking chores out. Which is lovely. You get to have your fresh herbs right in your kitchen… read full review »

The Aero Garden it the best Idea for growing fresh herbs right in your kitchen .I love this thing it works well and just like the adds said it would .I planted my seeds and after 1 month I have all kinds of fresh herbs to use in cooking .Growing herbs indoors is also a great way to save money on expensive fresh herbs .This thing really makes them grow and Grow .Its quite clean and basically cares for its self .All you do is add water and plant food about once every 4 weeks or so whenever the little lights tell you to ,it really could not be easier. The Grow Light turns its self off and on as… read full review »

Bought this from QVC, great price for unit and 3 seed kits.  Started with the lettuce in the spring, and we enjoyed lettuce throughout the summer.  Now I have started the herbs and they sprouted so quickly, I am looking forward to enjoying fresh herbs all winter, while my outdoor herb garden rests.  Only problem I have had is with the cilantro, it has not sprouted, will give it a week and then call customer service, to see if they will send me a replacement. —  This product looks terrific in the kitchen, but if you don't have the room, it may not be the place for… read full review »

Bought the stainless steel model with all timer settings.Don't have to do a thing but watch the lights and add the nutrient tablets and more water whenever the small lights flash. Planted the tomatoes kit, which I bought separately. (Came with herbs -- I'll grow those later.) Six weeks have passed now. The plants are getting full. Can't wait for actual cherry tomatoes in another 4 to 6 weeks. Instructions are easy to follow. With the grow lights that come with the kit, you can place the unit anywhere. No window needed.… read full review »

this was my favorite christmas gift last christmas. It's the gift that keeps giving. I have done the herb package and tomatoes so far. I think HERBS are really the way to go. FRESH herbs on hand 24/7. Tomatoes were neat to try but to me not really worth the effort. —… read full review »

I am really happy to have my AeroGrow, even though frankly my plants look pitiful right now. I have the basil & herbs kit that it came with. The mint never really took off & is basically dead... the parsley never bounced back after I pruned it in the recommended fashion. The dill fell over on itself & appears lifeless. The basil and chives seem to be doing well. My "low water" indicator light has not stopped flashing since about day 5, no matter how much water is in there, which is pretty irritating. The light is extremely bright and I find it pretty invasive early in the morning & late at… read full review »

I love my AeroGarden!  I live in an apartment, and whenever I attempt growing herbs on the balcony in pots, it never really works out (and in the winter, this isn't really an option anyway).  My husband & I cook A LOT, but I hate having to buy expensive herbs at the grocery store when so many recipes only call for a tablespoon or two.  This is perfect for us.  I haven't tried any of the kits besides the herbs, but that one has worked out pretty well.  The one little annoyance I have is that the dill plant seems to be releasing weird little spores or something &… read full review »

I think that the aero garden is dumb because what is the point if have a areo garden if you can just wait tell the summer and have a bigger and better garden and plus the areo garden is just a light that makes your vegetates grow that is not good and also it takes to long to grow you can just go to the store and buy what you need. All this is stupid they just do this some people can waste there money they  should just gie there money people that need it. That is all I have to say. —… read full review »

I first learned about Aero Garden in a mailer.  I did some on-line research as I considered the item pricey.  I made my purchase at JC Penny where the product was on sale and I had a discount coupon.  I chose to set the unit up after dinner.  Installation was easy enough.  However, I made the mistake of plugging it in that night.  I am now having difficulty reprogramming the lighting system.  I have had the product set up for about 5 weeks now.  The seedlings are doing well.  Stay tuned for my next installment. … read full review »

I GOT MY AERO GARNDENLAST YEAR AS A MOTHER'S DAY GIFT FROM MY DAUGHTER -IN-LAW . I WAS THRILLED I HAD SEEN THEM ADVERISE BUT REALLY DIDN'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THEM. I PUT OFF PUTTING IT TOGETHER UNTIL YESTERDAY .IT WAS VERY EASY TO PUT TOGETHER. THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE VERY SIMPLE . THE ONLY THING I WOULD CHANGE WOULD BE THAT THEY WOULD TELL IN THE BEGINNING NOT TO TAKE THE LABELS OFF THE SEED PODS. I READ IT TOO LATE AFTER I TOOK ONE LABEL OFF. I AM REFERRING TO CHERRY TOMATOE PACKAGE. I HAVE IT UP AND GOING AND EAGER TO HARVEST MY… read full review »

I have been waiting for quite a while to purchase the Aero Garden. I finally took the plunge with the recently updated polished metal version and just love it! It is a snap to use, is absolutely mess free and takes almost no time at all to maintain. In addition, it is a wonderful teaching tool allowing the users to see the plants grow including the roots. Growth is rapid producing quality produce is a very short amount of time. The only thing I would request is more Aero Gardens to increase my production!!! —… read full review »

I read a lot of reviews before making my purchase, both positive and negative.  I have had my Aerogarden 2 weeks, and my lettuce is almost ready to start picking!  It was easy to set up, the instructions were very easy to follow!  It does not take up much space on my kitchen counter, either!  I am looking forward to growing herbs next, and may even purchase an additional… read full review »
