The liquid version does seem to work at least 5 minutes faster and it does not upset my stomach as the regular tablet sometimes did. This brand name ibuprofen retails for slightly less than other name brands in my area, but is just as effective. I find ibuprofen to be much more effective on my arthritis pain than acetaminophen such as Tylenol, or regular aspirin.
