I'm often congested, and I find that the new phenylephrine drugs simply do not work for me. Pseudoephedrine, the active ingredient in Advil Cold & Sinus, DOES work for me. Even though I have to go to the pharmacy counter, sign an agreement, have my driver's license information recorded, and keep track to be sure I don't buy too much, it's worth it. This drug clears my head in 30-40 minutes, reliably, every time, and relieves the pain of sinus/nasal congestion pressure. I typically used a different cold and sinus medication. I went to my local grocery store one day with an awful sinus headache only to find they did not carry my brand. I recognized the Advil brand and bought it in hopes of finding some relief. I took it as soon as I got home, within about 30 minutes my headache had diminished to almost non existence. I was able to go on with my day and enjoy the weekend off from work. I did not experience any of the typical side effects such as sleepiness or living in a "foggy" world. Living in Texas, I get sinus headaches whenever the weather changes - which is constantly!  I have had a hard time finding a medicine that didn't leave me falling asleep at my desk.  Advil Cold & Sinus has just the right amount of decongestant to help alleviate my symptoms but not leave me zoning out.  With all the recent laws changing regarding the sale of decongestants, you have to wait in line at the pharmacy to get it, so don't wait until you are already suffering - buy some for your medicine cabinet… read full review »

Advil cold and sinus was really great i highly reccomend it. Advil cold and sinus took my cold right out of me and gave me a little energy to get through the day. The only thing i didnt like was that i had to take it every 3 hours. I enjoy taking Advil Cold and Sinus. It clears up my sinus, and relaxes me. I am not good at swallowing pills. The caplets are small and go down easily. Advil is the drug to use for any pains. I have all types of aches and pains. All I need is to take 2 advil and my pain is gone. I suffer from a lot of menstrual cramps and I have taken many drugs for that problem.  None work better than advil.
