My daughter will take this when she won't anything else!

5

I think Children's Advil is truly great! My daughter refuses to take any medication even when she is really sick! I've bought just about everything on the market and she refuses to take it but I finally got her to take Children's Advil and she doesn't even put up a fight now. She thinks the white grape tastes great! I am grateful that I found a medicine that she can enjoy taking to help her feel better when she's not well. It works for 8 hours and she doesn't have to take it as often as other brands and the taste doesn't cause her to put up a fight. I'd recommend it to all parents who have a child like mine who refuses to take any medicine, hopefully it'll be great for them too! It's good for many things. It's great for children who have just gotten shots. I always keep this product on hand because it's simply the best and isn't any more expensive than other brands that do about the same.

#1 Brand for my kids

5

I'm a mom of 5 to children ranging from 2 years old to 14 years old. I've tried a variety of brand of fever medicine before I decided on this brand. This is the only brand I get for my children now and with the variety of flavors it comes in. I have no problem pouring it in the measuring cup and let them drink it themselves which is a big help. Thank you Advil! My children's favorite flavor is Blue Raspberry. This seems to be the only medicine that helps my 2 year old sleep through the night during nasty cold weather. I am glad this medicine have helped her because it is miserable with a baby that is up constantly and don't feel good. I truly do believe the "up to 8 hours" is correct. If I was to recommend any medicine for 2-4 years old; this would be it. I do recommend this to all my friends and family. I love it even more when I find coupons in the Sunday Newspaper and on their Facebook Page.

A great way to reduce fever in kids

5

My daughter just got over the flu and this product was great at reducing her fever. I was lucky enough to also get a sample through the smiley 360 program. The kids also don't mind the grape taste, which makes it a lot easier to give them. It is easy to dose in the cup that comes with the product, though I sometimes use a dropper instead. The fever gets reduced for several hours and your child will get some relief. It is a product that you should always have on hand in your medicine cabinet. I am glad I became a brand ambassador the Children's Advil. It is definitely a go to product for me and my family. I would recommend it to all. I received a free sample of Children's Advil® from Smiley360.

Children's Advil Works Great And My Boys Love the Flavor

5

Advil is my go to medicine when I'm not feeling well and I've found that Children's Advil works better for my kids when they aren't feeling well. It works quickly for them as well. I was a bit concerned about the new blue raspberry flavor especially when I opened my bottle and realized it had a rather strong scent as well. However, both my boys liked the flavor and took it with no problems when they were sick. I like that Children's Advil is a bit longer lasting than the other pain reliever/fever reducers like Tylonel so that I can give it at bedtime and not worry it will stop working in the middle of the night. I did read some of the other reviews about the color staining and I did not give this medicine to my kids when they had a stomach ailment but I think I would not chance it. Children's Advil also makes a dye-free grape that we have used and like as well.

Great product

I love Childrens Advil! It is the only way to get my youngest sons fever back under control. Especially at night time, he usually runs such a high fever when ever he gets the slightest cold, but as long as I give him Advil as soon as the fever hits it helps keep it under control.

Advil Children's Fever Reducer works well, but the color?

4

I decided to buy **Advil Children's Fever Reducer/Pain Reliever** because the dosing chart on the back said that both of my kids could use this according to the weight/age chart. Usually I have to buy infant's Tylenol for one child and something else for my 4-year old, so I liked the convenience of this product. I found this does work well for relieving fever and/or pain, but I prefer acetaminophen for some reason and I don't know why. I do know that the up & up Infant's Acetaminophen that I've bought comes in a dye-free version. While the clear liquid can be hard to determine in a measuring device, I prefer it to products that contain artificial colors, and since this product is colored and does state that the color comes from natural ingredients, I can only assume it's artificially colored. Overall, this is a decent product; especially if you have a child that can't take Tylenol for some reason, but I'll stick with my dye-free options from now on.

Children's Advil "blue" my daughter's tears and pain away

4

I've had problems finding a pain medicine that my kids will take without a fight and have spent a lot of time and money on products that don't fit the bill. Fortunately, I've finally found something that they both like and will take without a fuss; Children's Advil Fever Reducer & Pain Reliever Oral Suspension in the Blue Raspberry-Flavored Liquid. It wasn't too hard to convince my son to try this product since the neat blue color and raspberry flavor was tempting to him. My fussy daughter, on the other hand, was not having it. That is, until one very eventful night when she woke up with severe pain in her ear. She was so miserable that she actually asked to take some medicine. I gave her the Children's Advil Suspension and was thankful that she took it without throwing up, as was her usual custom when taking liquid medicine. Her ear pain soon subsided and she eventually fell asleep. After a visit to the doctor that morning (and a confirmed ear infection diagnosis), the doctor told me to continue giving this product to my daughter to help with the ear pain. My daughter took it without a fuss and even told me that she liked the blue raspberry taste. I really like this product and am glad that I finally found something that both of my kids will take. I only wish that this could still taste like blue raspberry without actually having to be blue. If either of my kids should spill or spit up the liquid, I am not confident that it will not stain their clothes, the furniture, or the carpet. Other than the bright blue color, I am happy with the Children's Advil Fever Reducer & Pain Reliever Oral Suspension in the Blue Raspberry-Flavored Liquid and will continue to purchase it. Effectiveness This really does work in reducing a fever and/or relieving pain. Ease of Use It's easy to administer to a willing child, however, the blue color could cause concern if a child has a tendency to throw up after taking medicine. Immediacy This product seems to work pretty quickly.

Beware: Children's Advil Suspension Blue Raspberry Stains!

3

Beware:  Children's Advil Suspension Fever Reducer/Pain Reliever Blue Raspberry-flavored liquid Stains!  Yes, Children's Advil Does work to reduce the fever -- which is good.  However, often when a child is sick, they will vomit.  Blue Raspberry makes a horrible mess when it does not stay inside the body like it is supposed to.  Perhaps if the child is simply running a fever or if they have body aches and are taking the medicine to reduce the pain, this product would be fun to turn the inside of the child's mouth blue.  I try not to encourage the children to take medicine unless they really need it, so I do not really want them to be excited that the product will stain things blue.  My problem has come when the child has either spit up some of the blue raspberry medicine or has actually vomitted it up.  Yuck.  I think that Children's Advil is a good product, but in the future, I will look for a non-staining flavor.  Beware:  Children's Advil Suspension Fever Reducer/Pain Reliever Blue Raspberry-flavored liquid stains.

great for sick kids

I keep a bottle of this children's pain reliever on hand for when my 4 year old is not feeling well. She likes the various flavors and I like the dye-free option, as those medicine dribbles down the chin and onto the shirt often leave stains if you don't pretreat and wash fast enough. I find the little cup to pour the medicine into is easy to use and my daughter also likes to take a little sip of water using that little cup, to help wash the medicine down and make sure she gets all of it. The only cons I can think of are the prices of this medication. It's rather pricey and there aren't really any generics available where I shop. That, and the stain unless you chose the dye-free suspension variety.
