Before I using Advil, I have always used Tylenol for my headache but it doesn't help a lot with my headache and migraine. I always have a bad migraine during summer time every year.

review »I'm in my mid-forties and very active. I find myself bothered by minor muscle aches and pains more than in the past, but by using Advil as both a preventive and pain reliever works great to prevent pain and allow me to be as active as I want. I take a couple before a long hike or hard workout and then again after. If it's a long hike (6 hours or more) I even take a couple in the middle. It keeps my muscles from getting tight and inflamed and allows me to go further without getting achy. Unlike Tylenol, I don't have to worry about overdosing on Advil and damaging my liver. review »Never sick, just achiness. I use it for everything--menstrual cramps, headaches, earaches, etc. Greatttt! Takes awhile to kick in though but is still more effective for me than tylenol.
