Still find ticks but they don't seem to last long.

Pros

    kills fleas and ticks, really works

Cons
    dog hates it and tries to rub it off, Worry that it's toxic - to dog and to me, Made fur oily, more expensive than most flee products.

Advantix Flea and Tick Medicine — 

We use this stuff from March or April through November - in a tick-infested area. While we still find ticks on our dog, they seem to come off easily and don't get as embedded as they used to. The stuff is a little messy, though, and greasy to touch. His white coat gets a dark, dirty looking sticky stripe down his back.
