Advantix Flea and Tick Medicine — 

I have used all of the prescription and nonprescription tick medicines and Advantix is the only one that actually worked for my dog.  I will only purchase this from now on.

My dog is a swimmer and the Advantix still works great for her. The Frontline, on the other hand, didn't work at all for her!

I would be careful if your dog is a swimmer because unlike Frontline this product is not made for dogs that swim
