I travel often to see my family across America, so I rent a car each trip. Recently I flew to Colorado Springs where I rented from Advantage. I called to rserve the car, explaining that I NEEDED a car that would get around in snow. I was told that the SUV's were not available, but that I would be given a Sebring or another similar car that will drive comfortably in snow. when we arrived, we were given a Hyundai, which I questioned. I was assured that it was front wheel drive and would do fine. We had to have help getting into my daughters driveway, the snow was not deep (yet). the car would not move thru the overnight snow at all. I called the agency, who passed me from one person to another, before finally hanging up on me. the car never left the original parking place. we had to have assistance getting away from Colorado Springs in order to return the car. Again, I spoke with the person in the agency, who said that this happens, and that I should email the company. I never recieved a reply to my email. The car was much too light weight to drive in snow. we essencially wasted over $400. I would NEVER use Advantage again.
