Advanatage is good, bio spot is questionable. You can also make the advantage for multi cats more economical by getting the big dog tube and dosing yourself. Research the info, can only do this with advantage. Bio spot dog is hazzard to cats. And by all means avoid the hartz products, very dangerous....

I have used this product on all of my cats! It has been a miracle flea product in an area where fleas abound! I have 9 cats in my home and NO FLEAS! This stuff is truly great and I would highly recommend it to anyone. It kills almost immediately and it kills the flea eggs as well. The cycle is broken so no more fleas. When my cats kittens were born they didn't have fleas either. No side effects have ever been seen or noticed in any of my cat!

ive had many cats and dogs im a animal rescurer,i found at different times and different seasons, animals esp, cats need protection against flea's and ticks,esp,out door cats and kittens ,kittens are prown to die, if not treated for flea's i have found advantage, to be a great product for cats, it last all summer long, and the price is adfordable,this medicine can be bought online or at your local vetinarian, i have to say i advantaged saved a few strat cats lives that came my way last summer,and i would recommend it highly for cats,dogs also, but i did notice in dogs ,advantage has to used all... review »

I have helped S.P.C.A. save many stray cats that many people have just dropped off for dead which I find one of the worst acts a person can commit. My mom told me about advantage flea medicine when I had 12 cats that I was putting up and they were infested badly. Well I ordered it online and got enough for 4 cats in one package for only $50. Within a couple of days the cats started showing signs of relief, they were not itching and digging constantly and I noticed no fleas jumping. Advatage flea control products have been a great boon for me, living in Florida. I've tried many other products before with no success. Advatage by Bayer worked almost immediatly the first time I tried it. No scratching,no biting, no itching, no fleas! The product is easy to put on my kitties as well, just a dab on the back of the neck, away from kitty tongues, and that is that. We put the tube on our cat before we went on a 2-week trip. Came home and we were getting all itchy, all over. Suspecting our new comer, the secondhand Mexican throw had something to do with it. No way, it was clean. All the bite we checked looked like flea bites. So came the flea check on our cat.
The cat had, like, 20 fleas.
So we reapplied the new tube on the cat. A few days later, he was scratching. In doubt, I flea-combed him and, voila, found 3 fleas. The next day, 3 fleas. The next day, 3 more fleas.
With Advantage, we never had that kind of problem before.

I rescued my little dog, Taco, from the local shelter 7 years ago. Season after season he never had a flea with getting a bath in flea shampoo occasionally and life was grand....until....last summer when things really changed. I love the Advantage flea and tick treatment. It is so quick and easy to use. Its a better alternative then the constant use of flea and tick shampoos wich tend to dry out the dogs skin.Plus have you ever read the directions and precautions to take with those shampoos!! I dont like to use the flea collars because of the kids coming in contact with the collar when petting her. I noticed almost immediate results the first time using the product.

The only complaint i have is that it is so oily. It is visable with I put it on my dog who is a black brindle pit bull. But to me that is just a petty complaint... review »

I have been an Advantage user since it came out. It's easy to apply and easy to dispose of the empty container. I live in San Diego, CA and we have fleas all year round to guess who gets advantage at the 1st of every month =^..^= . For those of you who mention they get sticker shock try purchasing on line or at a feed store; it's usually quite a bit cheaper. At one point I purchased it from Canada and Australia at a major saving and fast shipping however with the dollar declining who know's what the cost will be now but never hurts to try.

Advantage is the best flea control product I've tried to date. One of my cats has a flea allergy and if one flea gets into the house he is the first to know, and I fins scabs from the bites within a day. Ever since I started using Advantage on the dog and cats, his flea allergies went away. I am considering trying Frontline even though it costs a bit more, but you don't have to order separate products for cats and dogs. That convenience, buying one package instead of two separate packages intrigues me.

I have tried other products. Advantage has always worked the best for my pets. I reccomend it to everyone, and would not switch to anything else. I feel it is the fastes flea killing product available!! I have recently added 2 new kittens to my household. When I picked them up, they were infested with fleas. I purchased Advantage right away, used it on them, and the next day they were flea free!! I couldn't ask for a better product!! Always perfection with Advantage!!

Advantage really works for my cat! My vet told me about it because I have having some trouble with FrontLine Plus, and Advantage really took care of the flea problems that the others couldn't. On top of everything else, Advantage also treats internal parasites too. That way you don't have to use several medications, just one Advantage once a month. The only downfall is that the vet charges over $17 for a one month's supply, but other than that it's great!
