My poor little dog Mickey has it rough in the summer. He seems to attract fleas like I attract mosquitoes outside. The cats are unaffected but he is always crawling with fleas. Add to this that he is allergic to fleas and he will literally bite and scratch himself raw, and I have a problem on my hands every year. I tried Frontline and a few natural topical flea control products but only Wellness Advantage Flea Control for Dogs works.

Last night, my dog was miserable. He was biting and scratching. He had some raw spots and was losing his hair in the back. This all happened within a week. I bathed him in Adams Flea Shampoo then, when he was completely dry, I opened a small vial of Advantage for Dogs 11-20lb. (He's around 12 pounds) and squeezed the contents between his shoulder blades. This is so he doesn't get at it and lick it. 24 hours later, he is lying in his bed, quietly sleeping. He hasn't been biting and scratching and he seems so peaceful. Not all the fleas are gone yet but I can only see a few here and there and they will meet their demise soon enough. Naturally, I have to treat the house as well but Wellness Advantage Flea Control for Dogs keeps my dog's flea allergy and flea infestation under control. He truly suffers badly and mopes around when the fleas get to him. This stuff is expensive but he's well worth it. I treat him monthly in the warmer months and may just treat him all year long to avoid the early summer flea infestation that happens yearly.

My Viewpoint

I love my dog. I can't think of much I wouldn't do for him. Using Wellness Advantage Flea Control for Dogs is pricey but it is so worth it to me to see my buddy content and feeling good. It has to be horrible dealing with those critters biting you all over and being allergic too. I wish the medicine was cheaper but it's worth the cost to see Mickie looking and feeling like his old self. He's my best friend and there isn't much I wouldn't do to assure he was happy. Wellness Advantage Flea Control for Dogs is invaluable to him and thus, to me. 5 stars.
