I didn't think that photoshop could get better - but it has!  CS3 is amazing - it seriously can do anything you might ever need to edit or correct photos!  If you are serious about digital photography you need CS3.  Even photos you thought could never be saved turn out remarkable when edited in RAW.  (If you haven't shot in RAW before, you need to try it, and then play around with the CS3.

I am a novice at photo editing and I found Adobe Photoshop CS3 very easy to learn without taking any classes. I did use some tutorials online occassionally when I was looking for how to do a trick that I didn't know how to do but everything else was easy peasy. There are so many brushes available and layouts and layering is easy. Very easy to correct mistakes as the undo memory is huge. I'm so glad I picked this up when I had my baby because new moms have a tendancy to want to immortalize every single bat of the eyelashes of their new offspring and I was no exception to the rule. I now have thousands of gorgeous shots that I took with my own camera of my 18 month old and I didn't pay for expensive studio quality, I made my own studio quality shots in the comfort of my own home thanks to Photoshop CS3.   I highly recommend this software to anyone just wanting to learn the ropes of Photoshop. It has everything a novice would really need!

adobe photoshop is amazing hands down the most intriquet system out i have a newer version of this i beleive but it is the best its very complicated and i would suggest if your buying it to go to a learning class there are many tools and items you will not know how to use and many things  that arent easy to find im not saying this is the easiest photo software but its deffinetly the ebst you can remove shadows and blemishes basically anything you can imagine it has a clone tool which is amazing but if your looking for something more user friendly or a first time photo taker i would suggest something like lighthouse or nikons new capture nx they are simple easy and make pictures look nice if youre going for pro quality i would suggest using some kind of photoshop cs4 cs 5 etc adobe has the best products out in my opinion i woul dreccomend this to anyone you can take a photo with a disposable camera and make it look professional for the camera

I consider just about all Adobe products as a "staple" in my daily use.  I am a graphic designer and the things I am sometimes asked to "create" can be a little overwhelming or even look impossible to do.  That's when I can open up Photoshop and realize that what a client wants me to do, or what I see in my head that I want to do, is very possible!  Photoshop is one of those softwares that I feel everybody should learn.  Not only is it great for a person in the design field, but it's also great for those in the architecture field, the marketing field, etc.  The menu bars and tool buttons can be a little overwhelming, but with practice and continued usage, they become second-nature and you won't believe all of the cool things you can do with just the click of your mouse.  I even used this software for a personal project - my wedding invitations!  This was a huge money saver in and of itself.  I would recommend this software to anyone!

I use Adobe Photoshop CS3 for digital scrapbooking and I LOVE everything about it!  I am even having a hard time upgrading!  Adobe Photoshop CS3 has the capabilities that I was looking for, like being able to run actions, using the styles, using the layer properties, working on paths, and so much more.  I have used Photoshop CS3 for probably 2+ years now and I still have not learned all of the ins and outs of the program!  There is just so much you can do with the program.  I use it almost daily.  I will say that now that CS5 is available I am looking into it because of the content aware option they have included, but I still haven't quite pulled the trigger!  I rarely have any issues with Photoshop shutting down on my or freezing up and I am not running it on any spectacular computer - just a Sony laptop - average ram and speed. I suggest Photoshop CS to all of the people I talk to who are wanting to get into digital scrapbooking!

Overall, the improvements from CS2 to CS3 really weren't worth it to me.  I detest the default settings for opening new images into the program (they are automatically "tabbed" at the top and there are no shortcut keys to toggle between them). I do, however, LOVE ME SOME PHOTOSHOP!  I'm an amateur photographer, and can never seem to get my pictures just right straight out of the camera.  Photoshop makes it very easy to adjust levels, colors, hues, warmth.....you name it, photoshop can do it.  I mean, YOU can do it (with photoshop's help!). I do like the fact that you CAN edit raw photos in this program (whereas you couldn't before) However, it takes FOREVER to load raw files into photoshop.  You're much better off using your camera's RAW program to input groups of photos, and do the basic editing there, then only bring  a few of them (that you want printed/ ones you want to edit further) into photoshop to do some more advanced edits.

 I love this program you can corp poeple body and put it on your you can change your hair color before atcually getting the real hair color. You can reallychange something about yourself that yyou do not like and do something else that you like on it. you can prake one of your friends by corping their picture and adding it to anything else that is very funny. There is alot of thing you can do with pictures on Adobe photo shop cs3. I am not all that good myself but it is very easy to use and adobe website has lesson that teach you things that you would like to know but do not know how to do. Just the other day i email adobe on how to change and cut and make my waist smaller and they had video in their website that taught me step by step on how to do all those stuff this adobe photoshop cs3 is cool trust me once you try it you will love it. I would reccommend this to anyone who has time to fix and my themself look hot with adobe photoshop cs3.

The adobe photoshop cs3 is a great product once you read how to use it. If you are the type who doesn't like to read the instructions, give it a shot. Knowing what you are doing can definitely ease stress. You can be an tech expert or just someone curious about this program, but I guarantee it is a useful product.

Adobe Photoshop CS3 is yet another Great release by Adobe. CS3 is brimming with so many image-editing tools that the biggest challenge facing it seems to be..."where do you stuff them all?"  Of course this release makes many things a lot easier to use and a much better experience over all. I don't think there's a graphic design firm or individual out there that can see themselves with out this awesome program. Photoshop is by far the greatest of it's kind and CS3 makes it so much better!

While this version does once in awhile still crash on a Mac, it's much more stable then previous version when it comes to actions. The other versions would crash constantly when I used actions too often, so I had to limit my use. This one doesn't seem to crash at all while using actions, which is a great time saver! But yes, it may still crash especially if you don't empty your prefs every few weeks.
