I've used Photoshop sporadically for nearly fifteen years. I've never been a power user, and more often than not I would borrow someone else's computer to use Photoshop, or take advantage of University discounts that brought the cost of the product more in-line with my wallet. I soon discovered interesting capabilities that I couldn't get out of Photoshop Elements, and after that, there was no turning back. When I purchased my new computer, I needed a strong image editing program, and decided that since I was now an adult with a savings account, I should just bite the bullet and buy a copy of

I absolutely love Photoshop CS3. Expensive, but worth it if you are willing to create the most professional work of art, photograph, graphic design, etc.

Photoshop CS3 has something other image editors (PaintShop Pro) don't have.
You can turn your JPEG images into Camera RAW. And although the resolution and quality may end up just a bit alternated, it's still worth the money.

However, if you are just a digital artist, get Photoshop CS2 or lower.
Not only is it cheaper, it's saves yourself from confusion. =)

I tend to use Illustrator and InDesign more so then Photoshop, but I really appreciate some of the new photoshop features in CS3. Especially the Workspace options. I create a lot of images fo web and animated web banners. Now I can do it all in one program, without having to use Image Ready.

Adobe Photoshop CS3 is yet another Great release by Adobe. CS3 is brimming with so many image-editing tools that the biggest challenge facing it seems to be..."where do you stuff them all?"

Of course this release makes many things a lot easier to use and a much better experience over all. I don't think there's a graphic design firm or individual out there that can see themselves with out this awesome program.

Photoshop is by far the greatest of it's kind and CS3 makes it so much better!

I didn't think that photoshop could get better - but it has!  CS3 is amazing - it seriously can do anything you might ever need to edit or correct photos!  If you are serious about digital photography you need CS3.  Even photos you thought could never be saved turn out remarkable when edited in RAW.  (If you haven't shot in RAW before, you need to try it, and then play around with the CS3.

While this version does once in awhile still crash on a Mac, it's much more stable then previous version when it comes to actions. The other versions would crash constantly when I used actions too often, so I had to limit my use. This one doesn't seem to crash at all while using actions, which is a great time saver! But yes, it may still crash especially if you don't empty your prefs every few weeks.

The adobe photoshop cs3 is a great product once you read how to use it.

If you are the type who doesn't like to read the instructions, give it a shot. Knowing what you are doing can definitely ease stress.

You can be an tech expert or just someone curious about this program, but I guarantee it is a useful product.

Photoshop is notorious for being the most used, most popular, and best photo-editing software in the world and it is for a reason. Everything is just so high-tech and you can do ANYTHING with photos, images, pictures, graphics, animations in that program! The possibilities are endless if you have imagination and practice. If you have no experience with Photoshop, just play around with it and you'll get the hang of it! It has many features, loads of customizable brushes, filters, effects, and loads of fun!
