I have been using the full version of Photoshop CS3 since I do some graphic design and I use this for my digital scrapping as well. I recently purchased a scanner and got Photoshop Elements 5 with it. So I thought I would try this program out and see how it compares to the full Photoshop. I was thrilled with the photo import and organizational tool--and auto red-eye fix is awesome! the organization thing organizes photos in a variety of ways, I chose by date since I scrapbook chronologically. For you digital scrappers out there, this program is so worth the money--and I'm sure the newer versions are even better than this one. Great for editing and cropping photos and placing all your digital backgrounds and elements together along with text. It even comes with some scrapping items. Take some time and play around on it to learn the different tools and menu options and I know that you will love it. I own a photography business and choose to start out with PSE 5.0 instead of the CS2.  The price was the main reason.  Elements is very easy to use and there are tons of tutorials and books out there to teach you new things.  It is a great program for editing!

I love this program.  It is easy to use and it is also easy to find tutorials to help you along the way if you are looking to do something special.  I edit all of my digital pictures with this software and I get compliments on the color and the vibrancy of the photos.  There are a lot of tools that allow you to fix red eye, get rid of blemishes, enhance colors and even fix a torn picture.  I also love all of the over lays that you can add to pictures, like sketch that makes it look like a drawn picture instead of a digital picture.  There are plenty of things to do that you will never get bored with this program.  It truly is amazing to work with and to see the effects.  It can take normal pictures to a whole new level after minimal time editing them.  With this program I can edit at least 20 pictures in a half hour.  I also use Photoshop for making flyers and invitations and Christmas cards.  There are some before and after pictures attached with this review.  I would recommend this program to anyone who is interested in photography or graphic arts, it's the building block to the whole industry and it is a lot cheaper that the professional version, yet it has a lot of the same abilities.

This is a great piece of software and I love working with it. Photoshop has always been one of my favorite programs to work with. When I have pictures that I want to edit, I always like to use photo shop. The program is simple to install in the computer and the instructions are not hard to understand. When I bought the program I was a beginner and I did not know much about editing photos. A few weeks after using it, I started to get the hang of it and I can now use it with no problems. One of my favorite features is being able to change the color of any picture that I upload to photoshop. I can turn my dog blue or even change the color of my eyes. The options are endless. Photoshop also comes in handy when my kids have projects that they have to do for school. They can edit the photos they use in the pictures to add more creativity to them and get a better grade. The program has new things that I discover all the time.

Adobe Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 Full Version for PC is an awesome product.  My husband asked for this last year for Christmas and I was hesitant because I really did not know if he would use it, or how easy it would be to use in generally. Thankfully, he is pretty good about reading instructions and taking the time to get to know how to use something before saying it is a bad product.  He did just that with the Adobe Photoshop Elements and we were impressed!  We have made several videos of our kids to send out to famliy and friends for the holidays and it is so awesome!  I love it.  We just upload pictures and/or other video and then add music. It is so cute!  And there are so many features you can use to really make it a unique video like zooming in or out, fading in or out, tiling pictures, etc.  I do not think anyone would be disappointed in this product.  It's pretty advanced, yet easy to learn!

Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 Full Version for PC is the greatest photo product out there. I am an avid photo taker.  I carry a camera with me at all times.  Photo Shop is a great way for me to create gifts for family and friends as well as for my own personal use.  Before I would send my photos to local photo processing places and pay a lot to have my photos done the way I wanted them to be done.  Now I can do it myself and create beautiful photos to have in my home.  I can create scrapebook pages and photos albums with just a few clicks.  Love this product.

I used the product to create some digital scrapbooking.  Wow all the things you can do to a photo is awsome.  You can even make buttons and little things like that.  And they really look like buttons too, not just a boring circle!  All I ever used it for was digital scrapbooking and it was sooooo much fun!

Photoshop Elements 5.0 is a great program for organizing, editing, and enhancing photos.  Pictures can be organized by date, person, activity.  The original can be kept as well as the edited version.  An example of editing or enhancing would be if you had a picture of the outside of your home that had phone wires hanging in front of it, you could take the phone lines out of the picture.  Or if someone (a teenager) had zits on their face, they could be eliminated using the photoshop 5.0 program.  Older, damaged pictures can be retouched or restored.  I was able to do that with one of my dad's WW2 navy pictures.  There are many other neat features to use. The 5.0 program allows a person to do more detailed fixing of pictures than Microsoft Office Picture Manager, but does take more time and practice to learn the program to use it efficiently.  If you like to do more detail, then this program is for you!
