Leak, leak, leak, leak,... it will leak at the nipple, it will leak at the cover. I read good and bad reviews. I thought I give it a try because I liked the design. I regret trying. I bought 10 bottles. All 10 bottles leaked. I made absolutely sure it was dry and tightly covered....
review »Three enterprising parents who were looking for the most natural and safe bottles available to their babies, that were most like breastfeeding, were disappointed. As a result they began the Adiri company in 2000. The design of these bottles is based on the philosophy that breast milk is best, and the bonding that occurs when nursing is important. But babies need to bond with other parents, or need to supplement meals with formula, or take a break from nursing, these bottles have been designed specifically to recreate the breast and nipple shape. Doctors, parents, pediatricians and lactation consultants...
review »These are wonderful, but I've never been able to use them with my own baby. Not because I didn't want to, but because of the price. They're all-natural (non-toxic) and the closest thing to "Momma" that you can find. Honestly, they even feel realistic. I'm pretty sure that even baby woudln't be able to tellt he diference. However, a Adiri Natural Nurser Baby Bottle can be about $16, and that's more than we have the money for one bottle. If you can afford it, however, they're the best on the market!!! These can be found at Whole Foods and other quality stores.
The Adiri Natural Baby Bottle is so soft and breast-like. It opens from the bottom which is very handy for easy cleaning. It is pretty spendy, but worth it. At Target, a single bottle is $12.99 and a 2-pack is $22.99. The bottle is BPA-free which is great for baby to suck on and does not give off chemicals. I prefer to give my baby the best. This bottle keeps babies from getting nipple confusion and also helps with colic. The milliliters on the bottle are cleverly placed. When the bottle is sitting on the counter, the numbers are upside-down. This way when feeding, you can easily read the...
review »I've use Avent so far and I am happy with it. We tried the Adiri bottle and found it cumbersome and leaking. It's hard to see how much is being fed since the marks on the bottle are hard to read and are printed backwards! You'll have to put the cover back on the bottle and put it upside down to read. Just one more thing to do! And no microwave allowed. Bottle system has too many parts. It's just too complicated! And I'm not sure mimiking the breast experience is necessary better. Anyway my little is not able to tell me whether it's close to the real experience, and frankly I don't think he cares....
review »My baby girl refused all bottles until this one. I called the lactation consultant at the hospital and she recommended this one (after praising my daughter for not taking a bottle). It looks and feels just like a breast. She takes it about 99 percent of the time. I wont say much else because the other reviews pretty much take care of all the other wonderful characteristics of the Adiri system. If you live in Savannah GA the only place to get them locally is the candler mommy and me boutique, at least that I have found.
This is perhaps the WORST bottle I have ever had the misfortune of using. For starter's it leaks...very bad, every time I tried to use it. I could not even use it in my bottle warmer without losing half the milk. On top of that my daughter would not even take it. What a waste of money. At thirteen dollar, at Babies R' Us, this bottle should be wonderful. Save yourself some time and a couple of bucks and pick up a Nuby BPA Free Natural Touch Bottle or a Mam Care anti-colic bottle. Either one is a great improvement over this over-priced, poorly designed, piece of crap. Heck my daughter is content...
