Adipex is what some call a dietary supplement, an appetite surpresent, or a good energy booster. I call it my life saver. When I started on it 6 months ago, I was 25lbs over weight, had no energy, didn't want to even look at my cluttered house, let alone clean it, and it took me forever to wake up in the morning. Now, I'm looking at a CLEAN attic, front/back porch, basement and an all around better organized house! I'm not ashamed for to have company now!
My appetite has totally changed. I eat so much better, and instead of eating SO much two-four times a day, I eat little bit here and there and never eat past 7pm. Staying well hydrated is something that I learned early with Adipex as well. I went off soda's and started drinking bottled water for two reason's, 1-I craved water while taking Adipex, 2-I did experience a little bit of dry mouth when I first started taking Adipex, though once I was drinking water more regularly I didn't notice it anymore.
The best thing about Adipex is, I love the way I look now. I feel so healthy, vibrant, and I can actually wear a form fitting shirt and not have to suck in my gut all day! My jeans got to the point that they were practially falling off of me! I could pull every pair of my jeans down without unbuttoning or unzipping. I'm sure most of you ladies out there who have had that happen, know how good it feels!
One bad thing about Adipex, is when I started on them, I took 1/2 of one everyday. After 4-5 weeks I started taking a whole one every other day, then worked up to a whole one for about 2 days straight then I wouldn't take any for 2 days. Well, last fall I was all excited about my shrinking body. I had a Halloween party to go to and my husband and I were going as a pair of sexy pirates, so I wanted to look perfect! I thought I was used to the Adipex alright, so I took a whole one everyday for 4 days. The last day I took Adipex (at that time) I went to sleep fine.
The next day went well, I didn't take an addipex because I was still full of energy and did pretty well. Then I went to go to sleep that night...I tossed and turned for 4 hours and did not get a moments rest. So I went to the couch, but had no luck. It was time for my kids to get up and my husband to head off to work, so I went on with my day groggy, but ok. That night was the same as before, as well as the next night. By that time I was going crazy from the lack of rest and so mad that I couldn't close my eye's. The next day though, my mother-in-law picked up my kids for a few days and I layed down with the fan on, started reading a book and finally went to sleep.
All in all, I would recommend Adipex. Just remember, don't go all out when you first start taking them. Gradually work up to a whole one, possibly everyday. And remember to drink plenty of water and take the Adipex as soon as you get up or at least before 9:30am if you get your sleep at night.
