Acura TL - 2004 Reviews

I purchased a 2004 Acura TL because I was spending a lot of time commuting with a 65 mile one way commute to work.  Travelling between MA and NH I wanted a car that handled well in the snow, was comfortable, and had good safety ratings.  The Acura TL met all my needs and more!  I compared the TL with a BMW, Lexus, Infinity, and Volkswagon.  Once I added all the features that come standard with the TL (Sun/moon roof, heated seats, upgraded stereo, bluetooth, navigation (the navigation is the only semi-add on - it is included in one of 2 styles of TL sold) the prices on the… read full review »

This car is by far the best car Acura has ever made in the past decade. Compared to the oldest model, the 2004 Acura TL is extremely reliable. — Acura upped its interior game with this TL, adding finer materials and more stylish design than in previous versions. The leather seats feature pinhole perforations, and faux wood has been replaced by real metal trim on the center console (so real, unfortunately, that it became vulnerable to tiny dings and dents). The Acura TL 2004 is the best car ever made. — Acura TLs have been terrific - comfortable, pretty good mpg, quick enough and dead reliable. It's just that they were so, well... dowdy. The 2004 TL fixes that. It still has all the good things (well, most anyway) but now they're packaged with Italian-like flare. This one is flat gorgeous from every angle. This car is so much fun to drive it's ridiculous.  I get awesome mileage on the fwy.  I can get 30 mpg!  It's not great mpg around town 17 to 19 but on the fwy it's awesome.  It drives like a dream.  Corners etc.  You can tell it was made for… read full review »
