After battling acne through my teen years, it eventually got a little better. After having four children and turning 26, my acne started to get worse. I tried alot of over the counter products but nothing cleared up my acne. It was beginning to really effect my self-esteem even more than when i was younger because it was somewhat expected during my teen years. I decided to give the AcneFree Severe Acne Treatment System a try. I thought "its a little cheaper and claims to clear up troubled skin "better than pro-active"." The system was a four part system that included a 2oz. bottle of facial toner, a 2oz. bottle of facial wash, a 2oz. bottle of "maximum strength repair lotion"(morning use only) and a 1oz. tube of "retinol renewal complex"(evening use only) I was very loyal to the directions and used it for almost two months. I continued to have bad breakouts during the time of use and i was quite shocked and dissapointed that not one product included in the AcneFree system helped with scarring. It did nothing for my acne. I've purchased 2 of the kits for approximately $18 a piece and i feel as if this product was a waste of money.
