Allow me to save you some money, but more importantly let me help you protect your skin. I have always had adult acne and about a year ago I discovered Proactiv, which has been a miracle worker for me. Clears my skin right up while leaving it healthy and soft. I recently changed my order and as a result there was a lapse in my shipment, leaving me without any cleanser for a couple of weeks. While at CVS, I decided to try Acne Free since it was trying to claim that it was not only comparable to Proactiv but "better". I washed my face with it that night and I swear it felt like someone set my skin on fire. I looked in the mirror and my face was beet red. Then came the tightness and severe itching. After a couple of days the irritation went away, but my face STILL feels like it is chapped or something. I will leave this product to people with alligator-tough skin and pay the extra for a truly exceptional acne medication, Proactiv. People...there really is NO substitute so far.
