Most HelpfulAcneFree 3 Step System for Clear Skin is one of the many OTC acne treatment systems of tried. While I was happy with the results at the beginning, it had apeared that my skin adapted to the products and I started getting acne all over again. This seems to be the case with many others I've tried.
The cleansers feel mild and soothing. It's very lightweight and easy to use. It will clear the skin, but for me the system did not keep the acne away. Perhaps it's that the cleaner and toner are so strong that the products dry out the skin too much and the moisturizer doesn't moisture enough...

Every morning I start the day by washing wash my face in the shower with the Acne Free oil-free purifying cleanser with exfoliating beads. Once I'm out of the shower, I pat my face gently with the Acne Free Renewing Toner on a cotton pad, then last but not least, a little bit of the Acne Free Repair Lotion and I'm ready for the day. At night I remove my makeup...
read full review »The AcneFree system is a great value. I've tried Proactiv, but I found AcneFree to be much more effective. The face wash is wonderful, it has a very mild fragrance, it exfoliates but it is gentle enough that it doesn't even hurt if some gets in your eyes. My trick is to leave the face wash on in the shower for as long as possible, at least 2-3 minutes, and then use a wash cloth to exfoliate it off. Step 2, the facial skin toner is excellent at softening skin and removing any remaining dead skin cells. I use a cotton pad as opposed to a cotton ball to apply mine. Step 3, the repair lotion...
read full review »I had used Proactive for several years. Finally my skin became immune to it so I decided to switch products. I came across Acne Free. It is a three step program just like Proactive. The first thing that I noticed was the first step cleanser was not a light scrub like Proactive was, it was a gel wash. Using a gel rather than a scrub is not my first choice. The second thing I that noticed was the lotion, which is the third step, did not have any sunscreen in it. I have very fair skin, and this was definitely a negative aspect for me. Acne Free is very gentle on my skin, and leaves my skin feeling...
read full review »I DO NOT LIKE THIS FACE WASH! It dries out my face and it irritates it. Even my friends don't like it it is to expensive for how it works. I can buy it for the same price as proactive and proactive works better. It's a waste of money and time. DON'T BUY THIS FACE WASH EVER! i WILL NEVER EVER USE THIS PRODUCT AGAIN!
WORKS LIKE PROACTIV, BUT CHEAPER!
AcneFree is an EXCELLENT product. It's only about $30 for the 3 step system at your local drug store. I've found it for as little as $15 including shipping for the system online.
Yet, despite its great price, it offers the same great acne fighting ingredients and protection as the popular Proactiv line. I used to use Proactiv, and loved what it did for my skin, but couldn't afford to keep it up. When I found AcneFree, I thought I was in heaven b/c it was just like using Proactiv, but I could finally afford it!
Easy to use. Comes with a cleanser, toner and repairing...
read full review »Are you an adult that still suffers from 'break outs' and bouts of acne? Well, I am. I do not have full time acne all over my face, just some times certain areas decided they want to 'break out' in pimples and/ or acne.
It seems like at this point in my life (and maybe you feel the same way) that I shouldn't have to deal with acne and pimples any more. I finally got tired of it. Intrigued by all the various commercial and articles about acne treatments and skin care, I broke down and started trying different things to see if it was as easy to get rid of 'break outs' as the ads make it seem. ...
read full review »I have had major acne issues (big breakouts and resulting dark spots) since I was a teenager going through puberty and it has gotten worst as an adult. I have extremely combinations skin - really dry around nose and chin and really oily in other places. My skin has changed over the years because I used to have only really dry skin. I tried a lot of expensive brands like Murad, Physicians Formula. None worked and I was spending a lot of money, those systems run about $100. So one day I decided I wanted to try Proactiv (I got sucked in by the commerical, I will admit) but was discouraged...
