It helps out a little, but I won't really spend my money on it. Yes it can get rid of the small pimples, however, it seems to make the larger ones even worser. The skin becomes very dry and red. The 3rd step the lotion makes the skin even worser than before by making it to oily and to lotioned. If you have severe acne wouldn't purchase it unless have moderate acne, other than that do more research on it before making a hasty decision. Most acne systems say it would make your skin worser than better, but this system lets it stays worse and would not get better unless you do have moderate acne. If you have moderate acne and have dark spots left from the acne, and you do decide to purchase the product you would have to buy a separate dark spot fader. Also you will need a sun tan lotion. Because when using this product it will make your skin darker when going out in the sun, unless you have a sun tan lotion it shouldn't be a problem.
