I've used the clumpy, white benzoyl peroxide from the drugstore before with little success so I was quite skeptical of this product as it's main ingredient is 2.5% benzoyl peroxide. But let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised!! I literally noticed a difference right away when I started using it. My breakouts were way fewer and less intense in just 1 week. This product also won't dry you out like other ance treatments. The acne.org offers an awesome supportive community, too, that any one can participate in and swap treatment tips with other customers. I would recommend Acne.org Bezoyl Peroxide Gel to my friends and family dealing with mild to severe acne. This is a two thumbs up type acne treatment. I sincerely hope everyone suffering from chronic acne will use this because it's amazing. Side Effects I have nearly no complaints, the only side effect I experienced during the first two weeks was a bit of excessive dryness and peeling of my skin. Although I would say that is pretty normal for most Benzoyl peroxide acne treatments. Pleasantly though the dryness stopped once my face got used to the treatment. Immediacy I saw a big change in the size and color of my acne within three weeks to a month. First my acne bumps were visibly reduced in size and then once they dried up my problems areas (temples and forehead and nose especially) stopped getting breakouts altogether. It was really amazing and pretty quick as I had experienced recurring acne in those areas ever since I was a young teenager. To have the acne heal up completely was such a great feeling.

Benzoyl Peroxide is pretty common in acne cleansers and face washers. Benzoyl Peroxide gel is pretty much a concentrated version of a cleanser. I've found it to be quite potent. When I notice a pimple or zit forming, I'll usually apply some of this gel directly on the area after washing my face. I prefer to do this at night as it can sometimes leave some residue. I've noticed some pimples and zits go down in size the very next day or even disappear! I would not recommend using this on your entire face, though, as it will dry out your skin. You don't need to apply too much to cover a zit or pimple. The price does seem steep, but it's a worthy investment and since it's a spot treatment, it will last fairly long. Another nice thing about the Acne.org gel is that it's a gel and not a cream. I've had some creams that would leave lots of residue and would be very difficult to squeeze or get out from the bottle.

I was content with my acne regimen because it produced above average results, but I grew tired of my face looking pasty after applying product. I decided to give Acne.org Benzoyl Peroxide Gel a try. I had used benzoyl peroxide cream in the past, but it always left my face a little ghostly, especially when I sweat. I figured the gel form of benzoyl peroxide would rectify my problem. It's very difficult to find 2.5% benzoyl peroxide in any form and nearly impossible to find it in gel form, so this product is very rare for over the counter acne treatments. This product can only be purchased from Acne.org and it can be a little costly initially, but it's actually cheaper over time compared to similar products. The gel applies easy and leaves no residue behind. I apply one index finger length of benzoyl peroxide to my entire face once a day in the morning. Within the first 2 days of using this gel 5 pimples appeared on my face. On the third day they became whiteheads and on the 4th day they were gone, but left behind scabs. By the 7th day my face was completely clear with minimum red marks. I know this isn't normal, especially for first time users, but since I was using a similar acne product I figured my initial breakout period was shorter. I would definitely recommend this product to any one who suffers with acne and advise them to give it a month to see if it works for them.

This stuff is AMAZING! Not only did it clear my skin, but it clears it fast. In less than two months, my skin has become completely clear, but I started seeing results in just 2 weeks. Its very affordable, and 1 bottle will last for a very long time.for the first 2-3 weeks, there was redness, irritation and peeling. You have to wait a while before it dries completely. if you used this product, I strongly suggest AHA+ and a good moisturizer. This is the best product I've ever used for my acne. It works great, and it lasts a looong time. Just follow the regimen, and your skin will become acne-free. My skin hadn't been acne-free since grade 4, and I really have to thank Dan for making this product. you wont regret buying this product.Calmed down red cysts in one night, and is slowly killing my acne altogether as the weeks go by! :D the price is UNHEARD OF oz for oz compared to other OFC BP's.

I tried using Dan Kern's Acne.org benzoyl peroxide a few years ago for his acne regimen.   I had some inflammatory acne on my face.   I ordered the benzoyl perxoide from his website, which is really helpful and I still visit.  It was inexpensive and arrived quickly. I started off slowly, and gradually worked up to applying the benzoyl peroxide twice a day.  I have sensitive skin but it did not irritate me.  However, my forehead started to get really dry, even though I used a lot of moisturizer, so I stopped.   I did notice fewer pimples, but I didn't use the benzoyl peroxide long enough to get full clearance.  I would say that Acne.org benzoyl peroxide is more gentle than some of the others that I've tried, but daily use of benzoyl peroxide all over my face does not seem to work well for me. I now use this product as a spot treatment whenever I get a pimple, and they do seem to heal faster. The acne.org product that I really like is the jojoba oil.  It is reasonably priced and makes my skin look much healthier.

I was browsing through internet and found this website acne.org. I started following the acne regimen and used Purpose Gentle Cleanser, Acne.org 2.5% benzoyl peroxide and moisturizer. The benzoyl peroxide is great and is actually working. Its just been 4 days I started the regimen and I am seeing a great difference in my acne and blemishes. Love it !!!

There are no shortage of benzoyl peroxide products on the market aimed at treating acne, but many of them have at least one major con that make prevents them from reaching "must buy" status. For some odd reason, most pharmaceutical companies make their benzoyl peroxide products in cream form. Cream based products are harder to be absorbed so they are often left on the face for hours even if you can't see it with the naked eye. I have accidentally bleached many dark towels because the benzoyl peroxide cream wasn't completely absorbed into my skin even hours later and I used the towel to dry my face. Creams may also clump up and interfere with other products you may put on your face before leaving the house or just before you go to bed. Another problem with most benzoyl peroxide products on the market today is that they are at least 10% benzoyl peroxide which is fine for some people but for most, it will overdry and irritate your skin. Acne.org's benzoyl peroxide acne treatment gel is only 2.5% BP but it works just as well as the 10% products without overdrying your face too much. Yes, there will still be some overdrying for some people but it's much more manageable. You will probably only need to put a mouisturizer on your face every other day versus every single day with the 10% products. What I really love about the Acne.org gel is how light and smooth it goes on the skin. It spreads well on the skin, has no scent, and gets absorbed quickly but not too quickly. Within 2 weeks my skin was so much clearer without being so overdry like the other products did to my face. 2-3 pimples still appear on my face every month, but they are much smaller and the duration they last on my face is much shorter. You only need to apply it once a day -- some people can go every other day. And finally, Acne.org's BP gel is very affordable. At first glance it may seem pricey, but the product really does tend to last a long time. On the official site, it says the 8 oz. tube version will last about 1 month but personally for me it lasts 2-3 months. Go ahead and give Acne.org's benzoyl peroxide gel a try for at least 2-4 weeks. I highly doubt you'll go back to those nasty cream and annoying pad products. The only downside to the product is that it can only be bought online and can't be bought in walk-in stores.
