I've used a lot of exfoliators for my face and have had problems since I have sensitive skin but I find that St. Ives apricot scrub works great! Though I find most exfoliates dry my face out I find this does less so and combined with a good face moisturizer I can get a good exfoliation and keep my skin from feeling irritated. Like and exfoliater, don't use this daily as it will dry your skin out - but use once or twice a week will do wonders for your face. Proactif will reduce the breakout intensity, but will do nothing to take care of already existing acne! It will dry skin out also, this ineffective product is also very expensive, — Yes proactif is very strong, it only burn and drys skin out! — For myself and so many others, I suggest a honey mask for a minium of an hour or overnight over your face, (1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 3 tablespoons of honey mix into a paste), Also in the morning wash with a mild cleanser, like a 2% saltilyc acid cleaser at strongest! this cleanser/mask is amazing. I have tried so many things before and none of them seemed to work. I cleanse with this every night and use as a mask every Sunday. It makes your skin a little sensitive and red after you use it, and that's why i cleanse my skin with it at night. After two weeks, my skin had a MAJOR difference. Not only is zeno so cute, but it actually worked quickly on my pimples. Just zap and go. That's all there is to it. After 2 or 3 zaps spread out throughout a day or so, the pimple is completely gone in about a day or less. It's that simple and so easy to use! I used this product line exclusively for two years and it did not help with my acne at all. It dries out your skin and does not help new skin cells to surface or to get rid of the toxins underneath the surface which causes the acne. I have tried this product, my skin was always fairly clear, I have breakouts on my cheeks, but nothing past that. I tried Advantage three step system, it made my skin dry! and I broke out! For extreme acne suffers I suggest looking at this product as an option only after you ask a dermatologist! For people with sensitive skin or mild acne, Do not try! It made my skin oily after also! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO PEOPLE WITH SENSATIVE SKIN! It totally ruined my face after about a week of using it. I regret it so much! Proactive did help my face when I first started using it, but over time my face became amune to it and stopped working. Plus I have really sensative/oily skin and it made it extra oily for some reason. Since I have sensative skin, I noticed whenever I would use a strong product with a lot of chemicals, my face would breakout like crazy. I love these. I had ruined several wash cloths by just using regular noxema face wash when removing mascara. By using the noxema wipes first, I'm able to remove all my make-up on a throw away cloth. Everything wipes off quick and easily -mascar, eyeliner, powder, foundation, blush--whatever! I then follow up with a second wash with the Noxema deep cleansing face wash, the anti-acne cleansing pads and the noxema astringent. I am 23 now, but when I was a teenager, I used to have really bad acne on my face, chest and back, I mean REALLY bad. I tried all of the teen things like noxema, clearsil pads, nature's miracle (pills and lotion), cetaphil, everything over the counter. Finally I went to a dermatologist who prescribed me oral medication (not birth control) and a special, really expensive cream that I had to keep in the fridge.
