I've had my Acer for over a year now.  I was a little skeptical at first because its not what I would consider a "name brand".  However, the price was right and I decided to give it a try.  I've never had a problem with a monitor in the past, so I figured, why not? The monitor has performed very well for me.  It turns on quickly, has a very sharp picture, and I have noticed no issues with dead pixels.  The screen refresh rate is solid enough to show no traces as far as I can tell, and I enjoy streaming content, watching TV, and watching DVD's through this monitor. The screen was very easy to setup as its plug and play.  I simply plugged it into the computer and it was recognized.  I would definitely consider Acer in the future based on my experience with this monitor.  Most screen manufacturers are getting their screens from the same place, so you are paying less for this monitor, and getting the same quality.

I bought this Acer monitor to replace a monitor that was dropped.  At first, the quality of the monitor was good at first.  But over time, I experienced a distortion in the picture.  The other thing that was very irratating about this monitor, was that it always rescanned its settings, even if the computer was not rebooted.  Sometimes the icons would be large, and other times the icons would be the apporpriate size to fit the screen.  I am a computer user, not a trouble-shooter.  I tried going to the control panel to no avail.  Eventually, the monitor died.  I got up one morning to check my email, the screen was black.  The power was on, but no picture. After a nominal amount of trouble shooting, I threw the monitor away.  The price for the monitor was right, but the quality was not.  Maybe I just got a dud, I dont know.  But I dont think that I am willing to try for number two. Purchase with caution.

The color and resolution are super! To be honest, my monitor did have some issues in year two, but those issues were resolved by Acer under warranty. The monitor has a 3 year warranty which I think is really great! Their website is reasonably easy to navigate and RMA numbers (Return Merchandise Authorization numbers)are provided in just a few seconds. I think turnaround time could be faster. It takes about 2 weeks to ship the monitor to them, get it repaired and get it back. In their defense, I did not ask if there was any way to speed up the process. I shipped the monitor to them UPS Ground and they returned it to me the same way. Some companies return ship to the customer the same way you shipped to them...i.e. they may have shipped my return back UPS Next Day Air if I had shipped it to them that way.

Acer has come up with a monitor that delivers quality and durabilty. The colors are vibrant and the controls on the monitor help you control the color, brightness and contrast. Not all monitors allow you to adjust to your personal tastes, but with Acer, they've solved that problem. I not only work on my computer using this monitor, but I also watch movies and television programs, because it has better quality than my TV.

I bought my acer 2 years ago and love it. the acer moniter is my favorite part of my computer. i own a dell alaso thats newer but i like the acer moniter better. its hard to scratch also is what i like, i have 2 young kids that always rub on the moniter. I recommend the acer to everyone

Monitor was shipped 3 weeks late. Delievered and had visible dead pixels straight out of the box. Another 7 weeks later, finally got a replacement. Broke after a year. Forget Acer, I'm going with Hess.

I am a business owner who works out of her home. At the present time, I have four computers, three of them have the old style box screens. After purchasing my Acer flat screen and using it we are going to buy new Acer screens for all our computers.  The old screens take up too much of our desk space, are clumsy and hard to read. With the Acer you can watch movies and do your work with confidence. Good price for flat screen.

I used this monitor as an upgrade for my dell desktop computer, and I have to say it has fulfilled all of my expectations. Easy set up, nice picture, and no problems at all. I've had it for about five years now, and it has really served me well. I know there all models that are larger than 19 inch, but this size satifies me for now.

I wanted a flat screen monitor but I did not want to spend too much for it. I found a Acer system, the monitor has a beautiful picture, the sound is ok it is not that loud so I plugged up extra speakers to enhance the sound. If you are looking for something good and affordable Acer is the brand for you.

As usual with the Acer brand name, This moniter is quality. It is my opinion that when compared to other moniters in this price range the asus 19" soars just a little higher than the rest. This is a great budget moniter. My family owns 2 of them and are completely satisfied. The colors are true (or at least as true as they can be when using an LCD, personally I use CRTs)
