My mom (born 1959) remembers having the opportunity to "tour" a computer when she was in grade school... and though she doesn't remember much from the experience, she DOES remember the gentleman who gave the tour declaring, "I don't know why anyone would want a computer smaller than this." What can I say? This is by far my favorite laptop because of its sleek design, great graphics, ease of use and just a hard worker!! It is easy for me, a computer geek/novice, to navigate and mess around on the net with. It is also resilient because I travel with it and I've never had a problem. PLUS I got a great deal on this laptop at a big name department store that also came with a decent manufacturer warranty. Great job Acer--I bought my first computer in 1991 and it was an Acer. One of my students showed up with an Acer Aspire, and I was amazed at how small the little netbook is compared to a full sized laptop computer. I'm not tall enough to actualy use a laptop on my lap, but the Acer looked like it might work. And, it did. The Acer Aspire fits right on my lap with room to move my elbows out and type. Yay!
Now, I have an Acer. It's red, but the red color is not fire engine. It's more a burnt red color. They have pink like in the photo as well as blue, black, and white.

I have had my aspire one for 1 year now and it works good. It has many plus including it is small and has a built in mic and cam. I have owned acer laptops before and I had a lot of problems with them so I was kind of weiry about buy the aspire one, but I am very happy with this item. I use it for online schooling and for everyday internet access. I also use my aspire for photo editing and to do a lot research including reading and downloading books. I have never had a major problem with this computer and I have a lot of programs and information on it.

i have the acer aspire mini laptop, its light weight , easy to use and i love it alot more than my other laptop, easier to take with you and takes up less room and works just as good as the bigger ones. and this one even have more memory and more functions with it. id reccomend to anyone looking for a nice laptop at a great price also, it was alot cheaper than the regular size laptops.

My husband received this lap top free at a builder show and gave it to me. I was very excited about the compact size. I mainly use the computer for surfing the internet, blogging, email, etc. I love this computer for that reason. If you are needed one for primarily internet it is a good computer. I bought this computer about a year ago and just love it! The screen is crystal clear and it's just as fast (if not faster) than my desktop. The small size is very convenient for travel -- it easily fits into a backpack, suitcase, or large purse.

I just got my new Acer Aspire laptop 3 weeks ago and I love it! I wanted a laptop that I could just do e-mail and surf the internet with. I don't need it for any gaming or videos. We purchased the Acer Aspire One for my eleven year old daughter. It is light weight and is perfect for anyone on the go and especially for kids and beginners. The battery life on this laptop is much better that I expected. It has remained charged for several hours and made a long trip easier to deal with. The charger for the Aspire One has a LONG power cord. It is much longer than the more expensive Laptop we purchased. This is a good laptop for school use or casual laptop usage. It is by no means a high tech laptop or a gaming machine. It runs the Microsoft Office Suite fine and can handle any picture editing and casual games. I basically picked this up on soecial for an extra pc to browse the web with remotely.
