This laptop is aweful!!!

This laptop is aweful! It has something like a 30 minute battery life on Power Saver mode, it's ram is not the promised 2 gigabytes, but, rather, 512 megabytes (I checked), and it's harddrive is permanently cluttered with crap from the company that I can't remove...

I have an Acer Aspire 4720z, and I love it. It is my first laptop, but my sister has an HP, which I thought was supposed to be the best. I did not buy an HP because I couldn't afford one. I bought an Acer instead because it was cheaper, but now I love it! I think it is much better than my sister's HP. It has a better design, look and feel. It has better features. It is fast and reliable, and I NEVER have technical problems with it. The price is great, and it is not "cheap" quality. I will definately buy an Acer again. Also, the customer service is spectacular.

My husband bought me the Acer Aspire 3680-2682 laptop this Summer and I've been thrilled! It's my very first laptop and as it was very good price and quality - it was perfect for me to begin my laptop usage. It's very easy to get used to, light-weight and sleek looking and has all the features I could ask for in a laptop right now. It allows me to store documents, play DVDs, peruse the Internet and just about anything else I need to do on a computer. I'm thoroughly enjoying this item and have recommended to many of my friends!

I had this laptop but for some reason it didnt last more then 7 months. i just wanted to share that. I use to down lowad a lot of music so there is a posibility that it cought a Viruses ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

we bought an Acer laptop about 10 months back because we got it for a very good deal. but i learned later that the batteries in Acer laptops are giving a lot of trouble. my husband's friend also had an Acer laptop and he said that - if he knew we were buying it when we did, he would have never suggested. even their laptop battery worked for about 6 months.

they called Customer service and complained that most of the Acer customers are having problem with batteries and they should look into it. but they never got any service or satisfactory response. after knowing this, we dint even bother to try.... read full review »

AMAZING COMP

i HAD A GREAT TIME SETTING UP THIS COMPUTER.. SIMPLY A BREEZE. I EVEN LET MY COMPUTER ILLITERATE MA USE IT, AND SHE HAS NO PROBLEMS. THE GRAPHICS WERE GOOD FOR THE PRICE AND THE PROCESSOR IS BLAZING FAST. I was able to add a graphics card and got even better performance.. now i can play my games on this comp. it seems that it can actually do everything for me. i run an entire business from this laptop and it rocks.. oh! did i say how great it is.

The Acer is a great Laptop for everyday use. At first I wasn't to sure about buying one since it wasn't that much, but I love it. I have had NO problems with it. I've had it since December 2007. The only thing that I really don't like is the battery life. It seems like it last for about 2 or alittle more than 2 hours when not plugged in. Besides for that it's a great overall Laptop.

I love acre laptops iv had 3 diff ones and they all worked great never had any problems there very afordable and packed with things like webcams and mics not alot of laptops have that there nice looking and lighter than other laptops if your looking for a laptop you will never go wrong buying a laptop

I purchased my Acer last year, and I'm loving it. I choose it bc it had everything I was looking for. The one I purchased has a web cam, which comes in handy when you have friends and family who are in a different state. Excellent computer, I have taken it everywhere.

Acer laptop mini netbook. Small but deriable. It comes in many colors such as pink blue and black. It has a small screen but the screen has a nice display. It has a bulit in mic that works just as good as a regular mic. The webcam well it freezes alot and dont have that good of a picture. I tryed it on yahoo it freezes up alot when i have just one person veiwing it but it i have many it dont. I was really weird. The keyboard is very small but if you have a blackberry or any other pda phone it should be hard at all. Lets see there is no cd drive but now a days you can pretty much download any software...

23 months ago I bought the Acer 5920, saved for 8 months, on a fixed income. It was all I could afford to buy the computor, MSN rated one of ten best under 1000, I was very happy with the computor and recommended to many friends who also bought it or the 6920. I was just playing a game from a disk and the MOTHERBOARD went pop. And it was toast. Here is the important part. They want $327. just for the part. Another 80 to install. Being on a fixed income, this is out of the question and totally unreasonable. I really loved my Acer. But now it would be cheaper to purchase an HP for 300 new at walmart... read full review »
