i HAD A GREAT TIME SETTING UP THIS COMPUTER.. SIMPLY A BREEZE.  I EVEN LET MY COMPUTER ILLITERATE MA USE IT, AND SHE HAS NO PROBLEMS.  THE GRAPHICS WERE GOOD FOR THE PRICE AND THE PROCESSOR IS BLAZING FAST.  I was able to add a graphics card and got even better performance.. now i can play my games on this comp.  it seems that it can actually do everything for me.  i run an entire business from this laptop and it rocks.. oh!  did i say how great it… read full review »

I have had 2 laptops in my time, and so many desktops it's too hard to list.  You can get computers for varying prices, from probably $300 and up.  However, I do not believe in buying the most expensive thing on the market because technology devalues so quickly.  I got my Acer laptop in 2007 at my local Wal-Mart for $350, a weekly special I couldn't believe to be true. —  The computer came with a 1.7 Gh processer and a 1GB RAM and a hardrive size of 80 MB.  It has Windows Vista, which my husband and I were looking at to upgrade my other laptop which is only 2… read full review »

we bought an Acer laptop about 10 months back because we got it for a very good deal. but i learned later that the batteries in Acer laptops are giving a lot of trouble. my husband's friend also had an Acer laptop and he said that - if he knew we were buying it when we did, he would have never suggested. even their laptop battery worked for about 6 months. — — they called Customer service and complained that most of the Acer customers are having problem with batteries and they should look into it. but they never got any service or satisfactory response. after knowing this, we… read full review »

I love this computer, i have been using acer for years and thouroughly enjoy them. thios is an above average laptop in many ways. it has an amazing easy to use interface and has great hardware to back it up! I would recomend this computer to students, writers, and for some light gaming! i have been pleased overall with the performance of this laptop.     The Acer Laptop stood up to my expectations. It's very sleek and doesn't look bad just sitting out on a desk. It's fast and affordable. I'm positively sure i have nothing but good praise for this product I say go get one today! it is very fast, i was on the internet yesterday and it was going even faster than my hp pavillion, now that surprised me! Purchased the Acer 4520 after my Compaq gave in...was hesitant based on some online reviews..but it's a great computer all the features I was looking for. Just need to add more memory. The only other down side is the online reviews stated that this model came w blue tooth but it did not ...It seems that only the international models outside of the U.S come w bluetooth.
