I wanted a basic tablet that is used by me and my family for reading books, watching movies on Netflix, and browsing the web. For those basic uses, this tablet works well. The screen is really good and HD videos look dazzling. The sound is also excellent---great for movies. Battery Life The battery life is really good. We can use it all day long without worrying about recharging. It does hibernate if not in use and I think it goes into hibernation mode too quickly. Processing Speed This tablet does not respond quickly enough when touched. You get used to it after a while, but at first it is so slow that you often find you are touching it multiple times because it seems to not react. Weight This is not a super light tablet. I think it's light enough for my purposes though. App Availability We don't use this table for apps or games very much, so I am not sure if it will work great for those uses. Design This tablet has a nice design and is really easy to use. Durability We honestly don't travel with the tablet that often---it is mostly used in the house. We do use it while on vacation or in the car on long car trips. We've not encountered any issues, but I don't know if it would, for example, hold up well if it was being carried around constantly.

I purchased this tablet for my grandmother for Christmas last year. She had been playing her card games on her desktop computer and while she loved to play the games, sitting in her computer chair was hurting her back. I looked at many other tablets and decided that this one would be the best fit for her. Acer has been one of my favorite brands for electronics especially computers and tablets for the last few years, and I was not let down with this purchase. When I purchased it, I knew it needed to be fairly easy to use as my grandma is not the most technology savvy. I set it up for her, within minutes, and was able to show her very easily how to access the internet, her email, and the app store in order for her to find and download her games. She lives with my aunt and uncle and spends a lot of time around my two young cousins, they were using the tablet so much that a few months after I purchased her one we had to order another one so they wouldn't fight over who got to play with it. They are a little rougher on the tablets then my grandma was/is and I am pleased to say that the tablets have held up very very well with them using them on a weekly basis, even with drops and spills. Battery Life Battery holds up well even when multiple apps are open. Processing Speed Quicker then other tablets I have tried out and used. Weight Very lightweight.

I love the Acer Tablet, I just got it and I am in love with it. It does everything I want and more! Deffinily do not regret buying it! Battery Life The battery life of it kind of varies, like if I'm playing a game for a long time or watch in a lot of videos or movies the battery life drops some but, I have never had it die on me yet though which I am very happy about!

This tablet has everything that you could ask for and then some. I was really pleased with the features that this product has to offer. I use this every single day and I have not had an issue with it yet. I upgraded to this table from another one that I did not find suitable. If you are looking for something that has great features and good screen quality you have found it. You get an HDMI hookup and you can even add an SD card for more space. I could not ask for a better tablet. Battery Life The battery life is awesome it lasts me a few days. I even turn my brightness down and that makes a difference when you want to leave the tablet unplugged or if you forget to plug it in. Weight The weight is good. I do not find this tablet heavy by any means. I can carry it around with no problem. Design Acer did a great job when it came to this device. I thought that the design was simple and not too over the top. This is just the thing that I look for when I am buying certain gadgets. The power button and all of the hookups are in a good place.

I love this tablet. My husband bought it for himself but then bought a new one 6 months later. I love it. I use it for everything. Looking on the internet, email, skype, pinterest and my kids even use it to play games Battery Life I use mine all day long and the battery lasts all day.

We bought this in December 2011, as a gift for me (dad). It has become the most popular gift in the house of the year. The wife uses it to play solitaire, I use it to read news and browse the Internet, and the kids use it to watch youtube videos, while they play on their laptops. It's the most amazing thing that kids would use essentially a laptop and a tablet together, but they do! This tablet isn't the fastest, in fact sometimes it lags a bit when typing in characters via the on screen keyboard, but that's OK, it catches up. Acer has done a nice job in keeping it update with the latest versions of Android too. Battery Life It lasts probably 2-3 hours on a single charge, with the screen on a pretty bright level. Processing Speed This is the single only questionable concern about the tablet. It could use a slightly faster processor, so when you're typing in via the screen keyboard, it doesn't lag so much. Weight Weight is fine, I'd recommend getting a case for it so you can set it up to use on your lap, as it's a bit heavy to hold on end for long periods of time. App Availability Most android apps run great on it! Design Nothing has failed on it, the design of the buttons and screen and hardware is wonderful. It's easy to turn on. We love the hdmi out and that you can add more memory. Durability We haven't dropped it, that I know of but I'm sure it would be fine. The thing looks as good as it was new. The nice aluminum case is great and has probably helped the longevity.

Good tablet for the beginner user. I liked the tablet, but don't like the fact that certain apps that I use (like the WWE live app) freezes every so often and I have to reset the unit to get the tablet to work. Not sure if it's the app or the tablet, but my friend has an ipad and that app hasn't frozen once for him as of yet Weight the weight was a lot lighter than I had expected. Compared to many other tablets that I tested out, this is one of the lightest ones I have used. App Availability The apps are plentiful and vary from business ones to reward one to even casual games like angry birds. You will find just about anything you are looking for with the apps that are available.

This is a great tablet for the price. I love that it has external ports (unlike the ipad). I watch movies on it and connect to my TV via the HDMI port. Also added a 32GB micro SD card to increase storage memory for movies and pictures. Video camera works great with skype

I thought I would use this more but actually find that I still use my ipod more. It does have a mini hdmi slot, mini sd card reader, and a usb slot and is flash ready. Weight it is one of the heavier tablets on the market Design the design seems to be a little to long to me and would like it to more of the size of an ipad

This tablet is extremely easy to use. I've never had any issues with applications. They all work without any issues and they even download quickly! When browsing the web the pages load fairly fast. I've found that it's easier to type with a stylus than with your fingers. My only complaint is that it doesn't take the best pictures. They usually end up pretty blurry but that could also be because of me. Overall this tablet is great, I love it. My little one can play games on it also, it's pretty durable! The battery life is also pretty good! It last a lot longer than my old ipod touch or even my laptop for that matter.
