I purchased this laptop after the previous one had finally died. Starting out is was great and fast but it did become slow quickly. I scanned, cleaned it up and psychotically deleted cookies everyday yet it was painfully slow even though I never visited any harmful sites. The keys easily broke off and after about seven months the back hinges snapped and I was forced to tape it and keep a stack of books behind it. Then one day at about the one year mark it would not click anything anymore. I can't use it and it justs sits there until I buy a MacBook.  Overall nothing special and not too great of quality.

I really like the Accer Laptop because it has been working almost perfect for what I need a laptop to do which is email and watch movies online. The only complaint I have with this laptop is that the disc drive broke during the first three months of owning the computer. The Crystal eye camera is pretty awesome. It makes taking pictures really easy and kinda fun.

Acer extensa computers work really well, mine came loaded with lots of things. The Acer computers are relatively enexpensive. I have had mine for about a year, and I bought my husband one a couple of months ago for his birthday. My husband loves his computer, as do I. Acers customer service is not that great though, so it is a really good thing they make a good computer. You would think they had more experience with computers questions seems how they put them together and service them. The warrinty is not really good, but again it is a good thing that they computers are really good. Plus the price for them is far less than any other computer that I was shopping around for. I plan on buing my son an Acer netbook for his birthday, because those are just his size and again they have a great price. You do not have to pay a fortune for a good, durable, reliable laptop. The laptops come with atleast 1 gigabites of memory for the netbooks, and 2 gigabites of memory for the normal laptops.

this computer is suprisingly good... i got ine on sale for 500, and it is supprisingly good... only a 14.1 inch screen, but that is pretty good for an everyday laptop, the keyboard is curved so that it feals better to type on... i really like this system. Also i have not had problems with vista while using it... most of the people who have trouble with vista have bad computers, or dont know how to use them (though acer has a program that helps make vista easier to use... it has powermanagement tab, internet connect tab, and overclocking/proformance tab... (called empowering technology, and comes preloaded...))
