Acer Extensa 4620Z Laptop —

This just keeps having it's hard drive replaced! Acer won't replace the laptop... the manufacturer's warranty only covers replacement/repair of parts. This thing is a lemon.

ACERS ARE JUNK! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

I bought my Acer Extensa 4620Z new in April of 2008. It was made in December of 2007. It is now August 6, 2009, and the hard drive needs to be replaced. It is only 4 months past warranty. This laptop constantly overheated and shut down, causing errors. Also, the E drive, (DVD) would mysteriously disappear, and reappear...sometimes it would be gone so long, that I finally went out and bought a brand new Windows Vista HP to reinstall the operating system. The E drive STILL kept disappearing. This laptop is not worth the money, IMHO...go w/ a Dell, or HP or anything other than an Acer!
