I love the computer but, unfortunately I'm a little confused on the crystal eye. No instructions on how to use it other than it makes a really nice still picture of yourself, "if your bored!"

I purchased the Acer Extensa 4620Z 2gig 160gighd 14.1, last christmas for the family to use and take on vacation. We use it on vacation to transfer all Cameras digital images from our sd card, so we can clear up space to take more pictures. The kids use it to watch DVD movies, on the plane, ferry boat, hotel if need be. We use it to check our email while at home and vacation. I work in an IT dept. for about 10 years and I can tell you this laptop is great. never had a problem with it. Here are a few quick tips : never leave your laptop plug into the outlet 24 hrs a day, when it is fully charged unplug it and use the battery. When the battery run low plug it in. ( battery will last longer) Handle the laptop with care. wipe down the laptop once in a while keep it clean. Aways keep it up to date with all of the microsoft patches, Anti-virus and windows defender. Last - Vista is not an evil monster it is better than XP and it does work when used correctly. You can not add most old software or hardware. I paid $499
