Acer EXTENSA —
I just got the same laptop from Best Buy, and paid the same amount (including tax). It is wonderful. I have used the Crystal Eye webcam so that my mother can see her grandson (she lives 3000 miles away), and have had no problems with any programs shutting down. It comes with 2GB of memory, a 160GB hard drive, a DVD writer, and Windows Vista Home Premium. I haven't used the E-Technology at all, nor am I a hardcore gamer or someone who demands ridiculous performance levels for graphics, etc....but for everyday use by a computer addict, I'm incredibly pleased with this product.(I'm afraid to launch the GridVista in case I can't get it off either, but have you tried Ctrl+Alt+Del and ending the program through Task Manager?)
