My new backpacking best buddy.  I've found it to be the perfect traveling laptop to haul around in my travels.  That is.....if you don't actually have to do any work on it.  It's perfect, or close to it, for emails, net surfing, or utilizing GPS and mapping your route.  If you have to crank out a...

Early in June.....Oh boy!  I got a new computer.  Can't wait to get my Acer Aspire One 11.6" LCD out of the box and running.  It started right up and I'm good to go.  Yippie!  Named it "Baby Ace"

Mid June.....Hmmm.  The touch pad works most of the time but it sometimes has a mind of its own. ...

I got this about a week ago and LOVE it!  In the fall, I got a desktop, but I always regretted not getting a laptop and this is the perfect companion!  I am going to let the kids use the desktop, but I will still have access to it, if I need it, but I do not anticipate needing it.  I can sit in front of the TV in the evenings and have IMDB at my fingertips, as well as use it for facebook, other websites, e-mail and the like.  I also have one that is white, as it was the only one they had left (paid $248 at bricks-and-mortar Wal-Mart).  I had been eyeing one for months now, reading everything...

My name is Kelly, and I bought this Acer Aspire One laptop for my eleven year old daughter that was entering middle school.  It was cheaper than buying a regular laptop and included everything she needed with the exception of a cd rom drive.  This I picked up for around $40 bucks on ebay.

This Acer Aspire One notebook does everything that my full size laptop does.  It has 3 usb ports, earphone port, a web cam (wow), wireless capabilities, and so much more.  My husband has said on a number of occasions that if she doesn't want it, he would gladly take it off her hands.  We may be buying...

The Acer Aspire One is a great, compact laptop that anyone would be happy to use. It weighs only 2 pounds and it comes in a variety of great colors (pink, blue, white, black, and copper). I was nervous about getting an Acer, which hasn't been known for being an excellent brand, but I have not been disappointed. It is very handy, as it is so small and so light, it has an Intel Atom processor N270, 533 MHz Dual Channel Memory, 160 GB 5400RPM SATA Hard drive, comes with Windows XP home, a webcam, and AC power adapter and power cord, an external mouse and cover, and best of all, it only costs $298...

It sure looks cute. That's all I know personally, because  I was not able to turn my unit on. It was Acer's customer service, though, that made me sure I had not found my ace in the hole.

Everyone stops to stare at these computers. They walk through Costco or Target and say to themselves "WOW, I would LOVE to have that!  And it's so cheap!  Would I? Could I? Should I?"

They wonder whether it would do all the laptops that now look like behemoths in comparison need to do for them.  Well the answer to that is yes and no.  Many don't have a cd-rom drive, so if you need one it can't be your...

I am no computer genius or expert. Just a average mom with a teenage daughter. The acer aspire Is the cutest little laptop ever. Very sleek and modern. I know they have upgraded this model and I was lucky enough to get that one!  I bought this at Radio Shack for under 500 Dollars and it was worth every penny. This was the cheapest one they carried and I think it looked the most expensive. Has a one year warranty included and you can all ways upgrade it where ever you buy it. For the price of this I dont see why you would need any extra warranty. If something i sgoing to go wrong it is usually unpreventable...

Even though I am a Mac person, I had to join the PC brigade once I saw the price of the Acer Aspire One drop below $300 at my local Costco. I used to travel with my 12-inch titanium Macbook (they don't make it anymore), which was easy to slip into my carry-on, but it was also quite heavy. This Acer is even smaller (about 7X10) and weighs in at a miniscule 2.2 pounds. It's an amazingly convenient device to take on the road.

The machine fires up surprisingly quickly, but the processor is a bit slow (1.6GH vs. 2.13GH on my new 13-inch MacBook), and you may find yourself waiting a bit for programs...

There are a few things I don't like about my 10.1" Acer, mainly the screen has a serious glare and is therefore very hard to use outside or other brightly lit places.  And I am a Mac die-hard, so it is a bit of a step down for me, though I use Windows at the office, so I am comfortable.

I wouldn't try to run a lot of huge graphics-aps on this, and the screen size would make it very difficut to do much design anyway.  Plus, no CD drive, but my USB flash drive subsitutes just fine.

Otherwise, this is perfect for what I need.  I can get online and email anytime, anwhere I can pick up a wireless...

I cannot say how much I love my Acer One 10" netbook.  I am going out of town on business next month and would not be able to check my email.  I thought I'd better try to snatch one up since back to school sales are starting soon.  I'm also very pleased that is has Windows XP.  I NEVER EVER want to have to get a PC with Vista!

I also love the fact that it is so small that I can put it in a large purse and carry it around and check email pretty much anywhere.  I have had a Dell laptop before that was atrocious to lug around and the loud fan died pretty quickly.  You don't even realize this...

I was given the Acer Aspire One as a gift from a good friend. This netbook pc is one of the best I have ever used, and I have used quite a few laptops. It is a great price if you are looking to buy. it is light weight, fast even when you have more than one large programs open. It is extremely  durable. It has without upgrade enough storage space for games, programs, pictures, music. I had mine full and still had room.

I bought the Acer Aspire One recently, and have fallen in love with it!  It did take a little getting used to, since the keyboard is smaller than a "normal" laptop, but now that I have gotten used to it...it's so handy! Also, the "mousepad" is very small and has this weird swirly motion that scrolls which I hate, but if I just got a wireless mouse or USB mouse, I'm sure it'd be fine.  I'm a flight attendant, so I've got to be able to pack light, but also be in contact with family and friends while I'm flying all over the country.  The Aspire One's built-in Wi-Fi is really easy to use and lets...

I Love this little thing. I'm becoming emotionally attached to it... I bring it everywhere with me because  it's much easier than bringing any 7lbs laptop. This little thing can putter along with the best (well Okay the 'alright') laptops of 1-2 years ago! The keyboard is very easy for me to use, I have hands that are very small though... I Love the FULL SIZE shift button on the right (it was one of the reasons I got it, this and the 2133 are the only ones to have that). This has plenty of power for 80% of the people that use a computer. It types with office 2007 just dandy and can go online...

I bought the  Aspire One laptop for Christmas at my local Walmart store. It was on sale for only $249.99 plus tax which was an incredible buy.

It has an 8 inch screen with an overall frame size of ten inches. It was offered in a couple of colors, black, dark blue and white which was the only color left and the one that I bought.

It has a 160GB hard drive with 1GB of ram., It came with Windows XP Home edition and was equipped with a built in camera located at the very top center of the screen.

For you computer experts, this system has the Acer Bios Version (Acer vO.3305) dated 5/9/08. The processor...
