Acer Aspire One Review

Early in June.....Oh boy!  I got a new computer.  Can't wait to get my Acer Aspire One 11.6" LCD out of the box and running.  It started right up and I'm good to go.  Yippie!  Named it "Baby Ace"

Mid June.....Hmmm.  The touch pad works most of the time but it sometimes has a mind of its own.  Baby Ace has frozen on me a few times.  Don't know what to think.

End of June....Sticky keys, still freezing up, touch pad is driving me nuts....argh!!

First of July....Baby Ace makes one little beep and dies.  I am able to revive the little guy but still....????  Sadly Baby Ace is going back to the store.

Pros: Very clear screen that is easy to see.  2GB of RAM/250GB hard drive. Very light weight. Nice cross between a full size laptop and a netbook. Keyboard is a good size.

Cons: Touch pad is crazy.  SLOW processor (Intel Atom Z520 1.2GHz). Windows Vista. Microphone doesn't work. Freezes up way too much.  Dies!

Acer....you need to put a much better processor in this computer and lose the wonky touch pad.  With all that said...."Dude, I'm gett'n a Dell!"
