i am pleased with any acer computer lap top or note book, i do use a computer every day but i would not say that i am a good knowledgable computer usuer , as i know how to pound the keys fast and find cirtian things and get around the world wide web...but i do not know how to add some programs or fix internal or figure out whats wrong when i get 50 million things going wrong at once. but the acer company makes it easy and simple to use and not too bulky to carry.. when i first bought a lap top a few years ago i had no idea what to buy or who to buy from . i had people everywhere tell me about every...
review »I purchased this Acer Aspire One laptop because it fitted neatly in my handbag. I have been dying for a netbook since I walked into my doctor's office a year ago and found him using a netbook. I looked at the HP version of the netbook and was almost tempted to buy one, however, my laptop was ACER brand and so far I had no trouble with the laptop or customer service. So I opted for another ACER.
Pros:
I bought this computer primarily to carry to work with me everyday and take with me to meetings to avoid taking notes on paper and then copying my notes into a computer back at my desk. This little computer zips on the internet and can find a connection just about anywhere. I use it primarily for word processing, some photo editing, music downloads, and internet browsing, which it is more than adept at handling. I frequently have several windows up running multiple programs and it handles it with ease. I bought the bigger battery because I wanted an extended battery life and it can make it 6-8...
review »I love my Acer. Its cute, pink and small. Its ultra portable and multi functional. I used to use my desktop computer all the time and all I wanted was a laptop. Well I got a laptop. It was so big and bulky. I wanted something that I could use in my lap that didn't heat up quickly and burn my legs. Something I could take out with me that wasn't heavy. I wanted something that wasn't going to cost me an arm and a leg in a time of recession. Then I found my Acer. It comes in all different colors, has a built in webcam and I love the fact that I can just slip my sim card straight...
review »The Acer Aspire One is light weight, and easy to use. Although the screen is smaller, it is still a good size for doing things, workable. It is easy to take with you, wherever you go. I can slip it in my purse, or other bag. Would not make one's school bag too heavy either, if one was to use it for that. It doesn't have a disk drive, which I thought would be a problem for me, but we just got an external one, and I can use that on it whenever I want.
I've never had any problems with this laptop. The only downside is the keyboard, it could have been designed more like the HP mini's keyboard where the edge of the key doesnt taper downward so there is more surface area for your fingers to hit. Other than that this little thing is fantastic. I carry it everwhere, its lightweight and durable. Absolutely love it =)
