My dad surprised me with this computer two years ago for Christmas.  My old PC was flaking out on me and I was just about to begin graduate school in January.  I have never owned a laptop before so Acer has really set the bar high.  My laptop is sleek and beautifully designed.  The screen is 16 inches; big and wide enough for me to watch movies on.  I have virtual surround sound built in and can listen to music from across my apartment.  It has a webcam, media touchpad and a perfect keyboard.  The coolest thing is that I don't even have to enter any login information to access my stuff.  The Acer 6920 comes with fingerprint scanning so that I can access my accounts instantly and in privacy.  I need a great deal of space for my pictures, projects and thesis research.  My laptop has all the memory I need for everything.  My husband has a Mac and I have been so spoiled with all the cool features on my laptop that I don't ever use his.  He will usually sneak into my office to use mine because the sound is much better and he is a music producer.  Whether you are doing something intricate or just in need of a laptop to write, communicate and check your email, Acer 6920 will not disappoint.  I recommend it to everyone.

What can I say, about my Acer, Aspire 6920G. I have been really impressed about this product. I love being able to watch movies in in full 1080 HD, have the Dolby Home Theater sound. I love the finger technology, empowering technology, with true 5.1 output. and HDTV ready.This laptop has been all and more than I use, also, I love the onscreen key board. This laptop comes with Window's Vista, and can upgrade to Window's 7, Wide screen 16", I like this size it makes looking at the screen better. And being able to take my laptop. any where I go I 'am never out of touch. And I would say if I have to buy another laptop it will be a Acer, brand. I say this because I have no complants of this product. And as for the price I have no complaint's. this device has so much more that I do'nt have the room to write, I would hope my review will inspire you to try this brand, and hope you have the joy of using your Acer, laptop as much as I have.

Acer Aspire 6920 is one of the best laptops you could possibly buy. It has a Dolby Home Theater which increases the volume and comes with visrtual surround sound. It has empowering technology which is one button that accesses your icons that are really hard to find in your computer. It has Intel Centrino and windows Vista. It has a Tuba Cinebass booster which increases the volume. The laptop has a fast processor, 120GB hard drive,  3GB memory RAM. It is a 1.83GHz processor and it is a 32-bit opperating system. IT is a really good laptop if you need for entertainment and some games. It is not the best computer for business and it cannot hold alot of programs. It can store alot of music and movies but unfortunately it cannot hold more powerfull programs. One think that i also  like is that the laptop has a fingerprint reader which lets you log into your computer by just your fingerprint, it also has a media device on the side which lets you increase/decrease the volume, i also lets you play/pause/stop/forward movies.

i love my 4gb acer aspire 6920 16th in screen and all the perks you get with this computer at a very reasonal price tags. i say so i know what i payed, this cost under 500.00 and well worth it.so many things on this laptop with buit in microphone and camera and dolby speaker system, fingerprint to get in to computer. also has a keyboard on screen if needed.  lots of room for your toolbar to make it even easier to get to one place to the next one, its great holds over thousands of photos and movie viedo and all kinds of print stuff and one to photos make remark on what ever you what, do you know you can even watch t.v. and cable t.v. and this laptop can be attach to your flat screen t.v.s and you can see every thing you want on the t.v. of yeh the games so many i dont thing i can play them all, not for a wild which is good and dont forget facebook , so you can stay in touch with the people you cant alway get out to see in person now i can on my lovely computer.and stay close to family is easier than ever, even when your sick and cant get out .... so much more i have to stop writing now or ill never shut up. thanks for listening. I' am very pleased with this Acer Aspire 6920 laptop. I would say the amount of technology this laptop has the price I paid was about right. I have burned a few cds, have not yet got to use all of what this computer is capable off. It&******* equipped with full HD 1080 play back, HDTV ready,the Dolby Home Theater, with virtual surround sound,with the true 5.1 output, comes with Windows Vista, web cam  I have enjoyed the finger print terminology,  Acer blue tooth,comes with empowering technology, I would say this laptop has held up to its name. The color is great, it is also fixed for larger print for better reading if eye site is not so great, the on screen key board, and talking technology has been of some help. I would say if you are looking for a good laptop, or computer Acer is a very good brand, the only thing I think the battery life could last more than 2 hrs. but I do not know off a battery lasting very long. So other than that I would say  it will be one I will buy again in the future. I hope I have helped you in this review.

The Acer Aspire 6920 is a fairly good quality laptop.  It looks sleek and modern.  The outer shell is a shiny, dark misnight blue color.  The "tube" on the base of the laptop has two round plastic covers on the ends.  You can remove the left plastic cap to charge your laptop.  The right plastic cap can be removed and underneath is the port to plug-in a laptop lock cord.  It looks pretty cool on the outside when it's on because the acer logo on the back lights up.  When it's charging, the inside of the tube also lights up the same flourescent blue color. On the inside of the computer, the media touch pad is the eye-catcher.  You can touch it with your fingers to open and play music, adjust the volume, and open Acer Arcade Deluxe.  Sometimes, however, the pad will freeze- causing you to have to remove the battery momentarily, then restart your machine.  At other times, it is unresponsive to touch and often has a slow response time.  The keyboard has a nice feel to it and the silver wrist/mouse area looks ultra sleek. This laptop comes with many additions and options- many of which I haven't even used yet.  It had the Dolby home theater and virtual surround sound with the wide screen. I watch videos online often and the clarity is usually very good.  The speakers, however, do start to make an echoing noise on occasion that sounds almost as if a speaker is blown.  It sounds awful and is inconvenient because you have to restart the machine.   The webcam is a functional webcam that takes average pictures.  The webcam program is just a boring program that takes pictures, but has no filters or fun extras.  The system runs just as any other Microsoft system, which is a little glitchy.  The battery is horrible on this computer though.  After having this for only a year and a half, the battery only lasts about 15 minutes when I use it on the power saver setting unplugged.  This is even after using it sparingly and having it plugged-in most of the time when I was using it.
