WHAT'S THE 411 ON THIS PRODUCT?

I bought this computer to replace an aging Panasonic Toughbook laptop which is heavy and too much to carry on business trips. Also, it wouldn't accept most of today's accessories like the wireless card!

Even though the thing worked well, it was often too slow and the screen was all scratched up, making things very difficult to see!

WHAT THEN?

I began to look into getting another laptop pc as soon as I could afford it. I looked into getting the Acer Aspire because I felt that it was reasonably priced. I DID however, see it on display in different colors. But I ended up getting it with a black top instead.

WHAT ELSE?

This computer is loaded with ultra-modern conveniences and features! For instance, it has Windows Vista, an Intel Pentium Dual-Core processor, a built-in wireless card, a built-in webcam, Dolby Ditital Live speaker system and a combo DVDplayer / CDburner.

It also has an array of input jacks and USB ports that allow for a variety of accessories to be used. Windows Vista allows you to perform a vast array of functions! One of those functions allows you to make backups for the computer without having to install software for complicated maintennance like Norton Ghost!!

Also, it has the very latest version of Norton Internet Security which helps to protect the computer agains viruses, spam e-mails, hackers and spyware. It is Energy Star rated and of course, has a removable battery. A 15" diagnal glossy screen and a 160-gig hard drive!

ANY SHORTCOMINGS AT ALL?

The only shortcoming is that the cursor pad in touch-sensitive, and while typing, if it is touched at all, words an letters could type improperly and be moved either forward or backwards.

IN SHORT:

It meets and exceeds all of my expectations!

Basically, it's a simple basic basline computer for anyone who does not care for a lot of bells & whistles, just for someone who just wants to send and recieve e-mails and surf the World Wide Web!

 FINAL THOUGHT?

Yes!

If you are looking for a good simple basic laptop pc, then this unit is the one to get!

WHERE TO BUY THEM?

I bought this unit at Staples. But you can get it just about anywhere wherever computers are sold!
