I bought this laptop because in order to work from home, I needed to upgrade my computer!  This computer has worked very well for me.  It is fast and easy to use.  It runs well even when running multiple applications.  The screen is great for watching movies.  I would recommend getting a mouse to use with this computer for easier use.  Also, the one downside to watching movies on this laptop is that the built-in speaker volume is not loud enough for many movies.  Because of this, it's a good idea to get some external speakers.  The other downside to this laptop is that it is big and bulky.  I rarely move my laptop from my house, partly because of the fact that it is so heavy.  This has caused me to think about getting a netbook in addition to this laptop.  This is a great laptop if you need a sturdy, "main" computer.  It is also a good laptop if you are looking for a laptop to watch movies on.  If you are looking for a portable laptop, though, get something else.

I recently purchased an acer aspire 7740-5691 laptop after my other laptop quit working. I love it! It is so much better then my other laptop ever was. It runs windows 7 which is new for me, but is working out great. It has a 17.3" screen so it is large enough to watch movies on. It runs so fast too! I bought it at a great price and think it is a terrific computer and includes so much for such a reasonable price. The sound is a little low on it and it is a heavy laptop, but those are really my only complaints. It has such a great resolution. It is very easy to use and is so easy to set up. I researched it a long time before purchasing it and compared it to a lot of other computers, it really was the best deal out there for the price and features. It has intel core processor, 4 gb memory and 320 gb hdd. The battery doesn't last a real long time so I keep it plugged in whenever possible. It is definitely worth purchasing. Ease of Use simple computer for anyone to use Battery Life Battery doesn't hold charge long Speed/Performance good for a cheaper computer

I bought an acer aspire for my wife for christmas , it came with windows vista and the promise that when windows 7 was available that it would be sent to her ; well appearently not without a big hassle , trying to get this through acer customer service that we use a p.o. box was an appearently new concept to this group of people we have been trying to get her version of windows 7 to this date 06-30-10 a little while past Jan. ? . Well my review is the product is most excelent but get what you want with it at the point of purchase so you don't have to deal with this on going frustration and be much happier with your computer . And it does have all of the graphics and H.D and all that you would expect from a top of the line computer attributes that one would or could want for personal computing .
