Recently purchased the Acer Aspire netbook due to my other computer went down. At first I was not sure about such a small computer. Thought it wouldn't perform like a notebook but I can saw that the only difference is that besides being smaller the only thing that is differant is that the Acer Aspire netbook is that it doesn' have a CD drive ( but none of the other net books I looked at did either). I runs just as fast as my old notebook and it is alot easier to take with you. the keyboard is has not been a problem for me to get adusted to. If anything its easier to type on. It has a SD slot that I put my SD cards in so I can put my photos into my netbook and edit. I have downloaded my editing problem for pictures onto my netbook without a problem. The internet moves just as fast on this netbook as on my notebook ( I have had several people tell me that thenetbooks are slower on the internet) mybe even faster. i had it hooked up to a wireless printer and it does great. I can be in the family room and it send the informaton to the printer that is located in the office on the other side of the house .

My daughter purchased this for herself to have a laptop available to her for school etc.  Overall it is a pretty decent little laptop, but it is small.  I tried using it and found the keyboard a bit difficult to use because of the size.  I definitely wouldn't recommend it to a guy!  I think they would definitely have trouble with the keyboard sizing.  It was very easy to get set up and running and didn't have any trouble getting it going.  The graphics were beautiful and I was very impressed with the computer as a whole.  I definitely think it is a great deal for the price!  I was very impressed with that feature!  It also came in a variety of nice colors which was a nice feature also.  I think this laptop is perfect for a teenager or college student needing to have a laptop but does not have the room for a larger computer or doesn't want to lug around a much heavier one.  Would recommend this product!

I needed a laptop that I could travel back and forth to school with.  This Acer netbook was perfect for my situation.  It is light and durable, so it can handle the commute.  The best part is the price.. It was rather cheap, which is perfect for a college student. There are a few downfalls with this product: 1. The battery life is pretty bad. I fully charge the netbook, yet it will die within 3 hours.  The best way to fix this problem would be to buy a new battery.  2. The netbook gets really hot.  In order to make sure it doesn;t over heat, you should either purchase a cooling pad or make sure you give the netbook plenty of down time so it can cool off. 3. The memory isn't great.  This wasn't a problem for me, since I mainly use the netbook for writing essays and responding to email.  However, since the memory doesn;t compare to that others, I wouldn't recommend this product to people who need a high-tech computer.
