Overall I love this laptop.  I have a SONY Vaio but I like this Aspire better because it is lighter in weight and has a built in camera.  The software I use on it is fast and effecient and connecting to the internet via my wireless network is fast and easy.  The only problem I have is with the display screen.  The resolution is 1024 by 768 which is recommended but for some reason my pictures are stretched and look a bit distorted.  If I change the resolution then I don't get a full screen.   I'm not sure why, but some banners do not show up, like the… read full review »

so easy to get started just plug in and use .I expected complicated setup. My only complaints would be when I set the screen to go to standby to save power it has become very dark when it come back on and I have to adjust the brightness. Bought this laptop for $499 at circuit city back in August. It now lists for $699. Huge value for what you get. Super fast,internet is great. Came loaded with Vista-still learning about that. Compatible with my Microsoft Office for XP-even though they say it's not. I had no problem. If you're looking for a great deal on a laptop without spending $1000,look at Acers.
