I had a Gateway 2000 before I brought this acer. I am very pleased with the purchase I made. The gateway ran so slow. I was really suppried how fast a computer could run after I made the purchase of the ascer. I can burn dvd on this computer and I cand wacth dvd movies and listhen to music on the computer. I would highly recommend this computer to anyone.
I have a lexmark copier which is connected to the computer and it does a real good jo of coping things off this computer.
I have not had any trouble storing things on this computerbecause there is plenty of space for files.
i have a acer aspire computer. when i got this computer, i knew it was a good deal. it was on sale at frys for $550. it had alot of upgraded in it, so i wouldnt need to do it myself. it came with 6gb of ram, so i took the 2 1gb rams and but some ballistix 4gb rams in it. my computer now has 8 gb of ram. i got a new geforce gtx video card for it. i can play any king of games taht are out right now. my computer is mainly maxed out rioght now. the process is quad core, so it is super fast. practically no lag at all. i can iopen like 10 games at once and not deal with lags. i like playign shooting...

I bought my acer aspire a year ago, with my income ta return. This was my first time using an acer. I couldnt find much about it, but I decided to give it a try. When I got it home and hooked it up, i was pleansantly surprised to find out how easy it was to install, and how fast it runs. The Acer Aspire works great in and to itself. Some of the programs that come with it at the time of purchase aren't the best on the market. Windows Vista Home Basic has more bugs that my backyard! Upgrade at least to business and it runs like a champ. Add an external HD to keep files on and it works faster.
a good computer, meets all my needs. The onley problem is adding hard drive,it don't want to accept it. We are told it is an acer problem.
