My Acer Aspire laptop has truly been great for my home business! I use it for onling ordering, downloading information and online chat with customers and friends. I haven't had any problems with this laptop. I run an AVG virus scan on it, as well as a top spyware/adware program to protect me from  all the negative stuff. I love the Crystal Eye webcam in it! The picture is clear and I have used it many times to take pictures of merchandise I am selling, or my artwork that I am building at the time. It has truly been great to have a wireless modem in it since I have it linked to a router, I am free to roam the house with it while I am online. It stays connected with out fail, and works perfectly! The operating software is the Windows Vista program. Although I have heard some negativity about Vista I have to say that it has truly worked great for me. I love this laptop, it was the best investment I have made using my tax return!

I have this laptop for almost a year and I am very glad that I bought it. It has a reasonable quality and price ,a full keyboard with number pad and also a decent battery life. I Love my computer. I use my Acer Laptop every day. I am constantly online and I love to take pictures and download them to the computer for editing and posting online. This computer has great features such as a built in fan, sleep mode, built in speakers, and much more. I am not knowledgeable about computers so I can't give details about memory and all of that stuff but I know that I take tons of pictures and I always download them at a high quality and I haven't run out of space yet. the monitor is clear and the color is great. It has a nice wide screennad ful keyboard that I love. This laptop has taken a beating because my kids are always wanting to play with it and it has taken some hits to the keyboard here and there, but it is holding up well. I have never owned a laptop before this one, but I know that if I every need another one in the future, this brand will be my first choice.

I love this laptop, it has a large widescreen display.  My favorite feature is the number keypad to the right of the regular keyboard.  It is much more convenient for me.  The operating system came with Service Pack One pre installed which resolved many of the problems the earlier release of the previous Windows Vista had.    The Intel Pentium Dual Core Processor is very fast and keeps the systems from bogging down with multiple windows and or  programs open.  The two gigabytes of system ram is in my opinion the bare minimum these days however with this configuartion it has never been insufficent for anything I have thrown at it including gaming.   The battery lasts on average around three hours which is great when I cannot access a outlet for awhile, which is great because I like to work on my laptop outside.  The 160 gig hard drive is very ample for a laptop.  I have never had a situation where I required more than the three USB ports provided by this laptop. It definitely offers the best price performance ration of any laptop I have seen.  I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a laptop.

this product is amazing. aspire 5735-4774 is the best laptop i have ever used. i received it as a gift last christmas but sadly i spilled milk all over the keyboard so the t and 7 dont work. but i am very used to it now. all i have to do for a t is press ctrl and v. for a 7 all i have to do is go over to the numeric pad and press the 7. but i have to make sure num lock is on. haha so yes. basically this product is amazing. i love it!

My Acer Aspire was purchased in early 2008 as a gift for myself from my husband.  I use it as a personal computer to surf the internet, check E-mail, pay bills, and play games.  For the most part, I love my Acer.  My husband offered to buy me a new laptop a few months ago and I declined.  The Acer is lightweight but has a large enough screen to display larger web pages.  It has withstood the abuse of my three year-old and other mishaps such as spilled drinks or being knocked off the table or couch.  I have played high memory games such as The Sims 3 and World of Warcraft. However, after a lot of usage, the left click button on my touch pad is very hard to click.  It's become slightly embedded in the touch pad.  Sometimes you have to very deliberately click it (maybe even more than once).  I also have been having some trouble with it getting hot.  Especially when playing my games (World of Warcraft or Sims 3) it will get very hot.  A few times, it has over heated and shut itself down.  A cooling fan is the only way I can happily spend extensive time on it. The one time I called customer support, the were very quick and helpful.  I couldn't get the laptop to boot up.  When I turned it on, it would become stuck on the black screen after the loading screen and before you see your desktop.  I ended up having to do factory restore and it has been fine ever since.
