My son's monitor was growing dim on his Windows XP edition and with him getting ready to start taking college courses I gave him my 19" LCD and ordered the Acer 22" to add to my desktop. Since I have Windows XP Pro with Media Center the 19" was not quite large enough to watch TV or DVDs for my eye sight. It's not that I can not see on a 19" but with the 22" I don't have to sit right in front of the desk. I had read reviews on another site which stated the monitor was not very good but was better than other monitors I was looking at.
FedEx dropped it off and with in five minutes I had it up and running. The color it much brighter than monitors I had looked at in office supply stores and there is no lag time causing ghost images during the play back of a movie ot watching cable TV. The settings are very easy to change for different types of use. I like my photo editing much better after having printed out pictures. The images are vivid, crisp and colorful on the screen and the printed picture as well where the other monitor seemed to show a crisp picture with the correct colors but the printed picture did not match. I had thought the change in the pictures were the printer and was considering taking the photo printer I had just gotten back and getting a different brand.
