Acer AL2216WBD (Black) LCD Monitor Review

   I am a big fan of Acer monitors in general and the AL2216WBD is a great one, especially for the current prices ( $169.00 online) from several retailers.

   I always thought the Samsung LCD monitors were probably the best all around value for the home PC user until I discoverred the Acers.

  My first Acer was a X221W and was a real eye-openner. Excellent picture quality for just about anything the home user could need at a price, at the time, about 2/3 of the similar Samsung. And it came with a 3 year factory warranty instead of the normal 1 year from most other manufacturers.

  The AL2216WBD carries on the Acer tradition of quality excellence at a very affordable price. It does everything exceptionally well ( often beating out much higher priced competitors)  in real world applications. Video applications ( streaming video, DVD watching, etc ) look really great.

   Excellent quality, 3 year warranty, ease of istallation, very attractive price- Acer monitors have a combination that is very hard to beat.
