Screen blinks every so often

I bought this monitor because it was reasonably priced and my old monitor died. Picture quality is good, but overall I am not impressed with the product. At least once a night when I'm on the computer, the screen flashes and turns a little pinkish hue and then adjusts back to normal. Nothing major, just annoying. I wouldn't say this is a bad monitor, just average. I wish i would have spent $75 more and bought a real quality monitor. Live and learn.
