Hello there!!

There is so much to say about the Acer AL1706 LCD monitor.  It is an all around great monitor.   Let me tell you why.

First of all, there is the size of the unit itself.  It is lightweight and easy to manage, even for a senior citizen.  It is easy to set up, even for the electronics and / or computer impaired.  The only drawback to set up is that the wires can be a bit messy.  However, this is easily remedied with the use of cable ties or similar products.  The unit is a breeze to get going!!

Now let's talk about the picture quality as well as the screen size.  They are both wonderful.  There are a range of options on the monitor menu to help you get the picture just the way you want.  The picture on the monitor is just great!!  All the things are there that you need; clarity, brightness, no glare and much more.  I use this monitor to watch movies almost every day.  It has better picture quality than my tv does!   

There is also the matter of the screen size.  Although less than 19 inches would seem undesireable, it is actually very nice.  The screen is just the right size for use as a desktop without being overwhelming.  If you have a coffee table and comfortable seating within length of the monitor's cords, then that is all the better.

The monitor is also for sale for a reasonable price.  Be aware that this is not a brand new model.  You should definitely be able to pick one up for less than a hundred dollars, especially if you buy it online at auction.
